Too bad Spurs are saying the same thing. Let's see if the rockets can make adjustments and win. If they do which I think they could... I will be really impressed. We have enough to beat them down. Just can't be beating ourselves.
A must win if the Rockets want the 2nd seed. Otherwise they're counting on the Pelicans to beat the Spurs on the final day of the season. T-Jones, Terry, and Brewer need bounce back games. Harden has to play like the MVP. And McHale needs to play Dwight 30+ minutes. If you're gonna stick to the minutes restriction in this game with the entire season on the line, then what's the point?
Feeling a bit bummed out today. When I realistically look at our back center situation and the PG rotation it is not a pretty picture. With DMo out, our middle is in deep trouble unless Howard can play more minutes. And our PG rotation is close to the bottom of the NBA, we don't match up with any body. We have major talent with Harden and Howard and a very good supporting cast with Brewer, Smith, Ariza, and TJ. Aside from that it is going to be an uphill climb in the playoffs. The depressing thing is that we could sink to the bottom of the West in no time. Must win on Friday.
Game 7. Finals. Biggest game of the season till now, MUST come out with some energy. Just need to attack them early. Don't put Terry out there please.
McHale needs to show he can make adjustments here, if he does not, we're doomed! Also, how come I feel even with TJ, Dwight and Smith, we still do not have a 'big' front court?? Duncan, Diaw and others just seem much more physical and true bigs.
Hell no. You want the Rockets to have to play the Spurs again on a quick turnaround. That way they're PO'd about the loss and come out with a sense of urgency.
I missed the game Last nite . .. .. so the loss is on me. I think in this game we need to play with energy I think the Rockets are best when attacking. Suppressing Defense and quick offense. Fast Break points and Rebounding stand out in the Box Score Rocket River
TJ, Brewer and Terry did not do their jobs yesterday. Somebody ought to bounce back hard from their abysmal showing.

It is put up or shut up time for the Rockets! Enough with babying DH12 minutes and get this W at any cost. I wish McHale would wise up and put in Capela instead of Dorsey and give some PT to Johnson.
