Why was the ref annoying Mac during that FT? T-Mac is giving Pops more nightmares. LOL! Mac and Yao know better. I just hate seeing these two guys continuously get punished for their teammates' shortcomings/ineptitude.
If Alston hits a couple of wide open threes were only down by 6 points right now. Great finish to the half by TMAC.
solid way to finish the half. Mac starting to find some semblance of his rythym. through all the BS, we are within striking distance going into the second half.
There's not much you can do when Tim Duncan is on like he is tonight... that's something the Rockets really haven't had to deal with as much in the previous 3 games (even the last one in SA where he scored 38... he wasn't making a ton of mid-range jumpers which is deadly for defensive spacing).
Funny thing is, we still have a chance to play ourselves back into the game. The Spurs, nowadays will let you do that... Let's just hope we don't play ourselves out of the game.
Today the game is all about attacking the basket. The spurs can't stop T-Mac when he drives to the basket.

Pops prolly can live with TMac getting a very hard 25 to 30 points, he just wants to shut out the rest of the Rox. edit: That task gets easier if the rest of the Rox don't show up anyways ...
T-Mac just needs to come out in the 3rd as fired up as he was at the end of the half. He will win it for us if he continues to be aggressive. Anyone know what he was saying to the ref before his 2nd FT? Threw the ball back to him and looked like he was cussing him out lol, but he didn't get a technical.
Kirk really never played himself out of the rotation... its just that jvg decided to keep him on the bench even when he was fully recovered from his injury.
Only down by 12 at the half sounds good after the Hot start the Spurs had this game will be close at the end. Go Rockets!!
