Honestly, a time like that is when Harden ISO IS the right play. He's the superstar, you let him take that shot.
He has had 2 crappy games to go with his 3 good games. I wouldn't be surprised if he has one more crappy game to even the 3 good games out. Thats the definition of average. He is overrated by fans, even had me tricked for a while. But now i know better. Consistency is not something I am going to get with Lin. To be fair Parsons is also average. Had 4-5 bad games to go with his 6 good. Neither looks to have a very high ceiling. Anyways we freakin beat the Spurs, even though I am disappointed in the play of certain players, that certainly makes up for it.
What relevance does this have tonight? He only took 1 all night, and has been shooting well over 40% from 3 the last month and a half.
He is constantly improving. In March, he is shooting 40% in 3s. I'm sure he will work super hard in the off season.
You've never heard of young/inexperienced players being inconsistent? It's better to have extreme highs and lows than to just be consistently average. Consistency comes with experience.
This. The last few possessions should nearly always run through Harden. I only have an issue if it's the last 5 or 6 minutes when other players on the team are also shooting well. If the rest of the team isn't shooting well (like tonight), then that's why he gets paid $80M.
