Luther has more to gain in the remaining games than anyone else. Of course we should try to win games, but giving Luther more time and experience in the point position should be a priority, especially when he plays well. He could end up being good enough to be our backup PG next year and we can just focus on getting a new SG & PF.

Not only that...they were sitting in the Red Alert seats. I can't believe the fine folks at the Rockets are sell-outs! :)

    Outcoached?

He should be given an award for keeping the game close with the team they are putting on the floor.

Our Point Guards must be playmaker Point Guards as we are playing our game built about a CENTER! Head is a Shooting Guard as he is NOT a playmaker. To be a good team we should use the strengths of our players not try to turn them into something that the aren't.

Well did anyone notice that after all the JVG prep for this game that Yao Ming reverted back to playing JVG Ball by forgetting that he must be agressive and focus on bering the main scorer of the team.Yesterday was his poorest showing since the all star game.

    I don't know. That's what Yao said:

"We had some good plays in a row in a couple of minutes," Yao said. "They called time out. They adjusted offensively and defensively, and we were just like before."

YAO had A off game, especially in the 4th. his knee bother him a lot, I think. He moved much slower after early ingury in the 1st.

He can LEARN to be a playmaker. In case you forgot, Luther is ROOKIE. With the playoff picture nearly gone, developing a chemistry between Luther and Yao is important. I'm not saying we shouldn't try to win games, but at this point we have to also look forward. Luther has shown some playmaking ability, just not often enough. Let's see how far he can take it this year as our backup PG the remaining 15+ games.
