Not that little offensively challenged tyrant...we need to take a step forward, not ten steps backwards
I agree, lets just hire this man as our HEAD COACH. I think it'll be his first time coaching, but he deserves it.
AVERY JOHNSON. He led the Mavericks to 1st on offensive rating and Top 10 in defensive rating AJ FOR COACH
If the style of play doesn't change the 2nd half, I expect Rox to lose the game. sorry but Ron is an one-man cancer that's growing day by day in the team. Coach A needs to drive home the point that when yao's on the court, especially when Yao's NOT doubled or fronted, the ball needs to go through yao. Yao will NOT shoot every time when he gets the ball, he's a willing pass, everyone should've have known this by now. when you pass the ball to yao and your defender goes back to double yao, yao will get the ball back to you and you have an easier open shot. I don't mind players taking an open shot and miss, I can't live with it. But i hate to see is how Ron's playing in the 1st half. On at least 3 occasions, Ron had the ball, Yao had his man pinned behind him, ron had a clear path to Yao. But instead of passing the ball, Ron bulldozed his way toward the basket, with 3 people (Ron's defender, plus YAO and his defender) in the path! Predictably, ron forced his shots and missed badly. Can anybody explain it to me why ron did what he did???
Morey should have never said we wanted to resign Ron...ever since then he's been playing like the selfish Artest and not the Selfless Artest. How many times has he ignored Yao?
what the hell is artest doing? damn it he is obviously playing for his contract...how is this going to work in the playoffs? he can't get by anyone...
and jvg would most likely stifle guys like brooks, lowry, and wafer who gives us much needed unpredictability (with mistakes). every approach will have its strengths and weaknesses.
