if my memory serves me correctly, last time we played the lakers, Yao posted shaq up 3 times and scored. i'm not saying he can do it consistently. just think that he can certainly take on Duncan in the low post.
that 3 sec violation call on yao tells me the refs are out to get him. That was a bad bad call. It's him against the world. The dude can't win. They hate him.
He is afraid to play agressive against TD. Nobody can guard TD because TD gets all the calls in the world.
Yao is winded... he woulda sent that Parker shot back in his mug, had he had his legs. Regroup... come out strong in the second half..... hey we actually WON the second quarter by three points.
ok, i've solved francis' shooting problems, he just needs to take the most difficult shot possible on each possession. they seem to go in. the regular jump shots are holding him back.
Glad Francis had a strong finish despite missing that last 3 to close out the half. I'm also glad we got good commentators doing this game. Collins is hands down the best analysts on TNT. It would be so nice if Francis could get hot in the second half coupling that with a strong second half from Yao. Hell I just want the whole team to be hot and get this win.
poor francis gets a bad rap.. he has to take so many last second shots his teammates are scared to take.. as i type this Francis is enfuego! the most exciting 38-35 game ever. this is bogged down playoff style basketball, better get use to it.
