    gonna' be a good game...

I think we will beat the Lakers. The just barely pulled it out against Orlando today. Broke my heart.

The Lakers were AWFUL in the playoffs last year, and yet if that Horry three had gone down, the Spurs would have been defeated. San Antonio got lucky last year. The Mavericks, Kings, and Lakers were all riddled with injuries.

And then the Spurs went on to play in possibly the worst NBA Finals in league history. There's NO chance they repeat.

I wouldn't say there's "NO chance". The Spurs are a solid team. They may not have the best of chances, but they still have a chance.

I think the Nuggets have a better chance than the Spurs.

Let me just say something that every Rockets fan should be aware of:

IF the Spurs win the title, they will have three to the Rockets' two. Anyone who cares about the history of this franchise should be rooting against the Spurs as hard as they possibly can.

It'll be an ugly, low scoring, boring game. Most likely Houston loses and then beats LA. However, i'm not going to predict a rockets loss.

    Rockets - 83

    Spurs - 82

San Antonio (3) vs. Houston (6)

    This is your crystal ball.

Well the Spurs beat the Kings yesterday. I really don't see how the Spurs are that great. Tim Duncan does it all..but so dull...and boring...not that boring actually. THey grind it out though. They have a good coach.

I don't think Parker played against us last time...but we still lost. Francis needs to focus and play his best against Parker and contain Tony.
Mobley needs to be an offensive force and add some points for us...and also defend Ginobili. Please do not let Ginobili score more than 10 points...or let Ginobili score 50..but don't let anyone else score.
Jimmy Jackson cancels Bruce Bowen out. Hopefully Jackson can be more effective..hopefully Bruce Bowen is off target tomorrow...if we are down by 20...I guess we can foul Bruce Bowen..like the Mavericks did.
Cato vs. Duncan. Duncan is too smart for Cato..but he didn't have much success shooting in the low post or block...but facing Cato..he easily could find ways to score. Yao is too slow for Duncan...Taylor is too short...
Yao better not let Rasho take open shots..or get easy layups.

I hope we can win. I hope Steve does well.

We win because our team game is so much better than the last time we played them.

the rox are due for a win over the spurs.

    rox 92
    spurs 81

duncan gets his double double, but will shoot under 40% trying to do so. ginobili goes for 20 plus.

yao has a big game. steve has ten plus assists. cat 15 plus. motay 15 plus.

I would like to note that Gino was held to 11 and 16 the last two times...and we didnt play well at all then.

And Bowen was held to 4 and 0.

The main factor is in this game will be can Yao score at will
    secondary factors are:
attempt to limit Duncan..or at least pray he has a bad game
Francis must not get into a duel with Jesus..
and let JJ and Cat continue to limit Gino and Bowen.

I do agree that we have been playing together a little better than the last time we met the Spurms....hopefully the Rockets bring their A game this time.

I predict that the score won't be over 100... the two team's combine score that is...
Anyway, I like to see Yao against rasho. Rasho has always played well against Yao. I like to see Cato v. Duncan, Duncan has always played well against anyone. I like to see Parker against francis, Parker is exactly the type of pg who gives steve trouble defensively.
All in all, I think it would be a big win by the rox, Yao will finally come thru.

even though i know it won't happen, i'd just like the refs to not send duncan to the line every time he gets breathed on a little too hard. i used to have nothing against duncan really, but favorable ref treatment always goes a long way toward me hating you and duncan's in that territory now.

i think we'll lose b/c, well, the spurs are a better team. i'd just like to see a good effort and the bbs not explode like it's the worst thing ever.

    i'm putting the over/under at 159.

Tony Parker is playing well and Duncan is putting up MVP numbers. The defensive weakness on the Spurs is supposed to be the point guard position as seen by Stephon Marbury torching Parker in the playoffs last year, but Tony Parker is playing very well offensively. Spurs will win this game.

Well, heres to a win. We are back on TNT tomorow, and then ESPN later in the week.

Time to shine in the National spotlight. Let's go Rockets! Defend the home turf....err court.

Keep Duncin in check, don't let him have a night to remember (in a positive attitude) and DO NOT let the the other role players have career nights. (bowen) Keep Gino and Parker down.

We must play good defense but for atleast 3 quarters, it would be sweet to see them do it in 4.....

Rasho has Yao figured out completely. We may be able to win if JVG plays small ball over half the game and we run it up their butts. The Spurs are better at our defensive half court style than we are.

I say we lose big. Mo and Yao have miserable games. The rally will be too little too late.

Actually Parker plays pretty good D but just was too scared of Marbury.

This game will be ugly very ugly, whoever reaches 70 points wins the game. I just hope Steve and Yao(or at least one) will be on top of their games. The real x factor for this game is Cat though, so here's hoping Cat will have a big night because Jim Jackson will probably get shut down by Bowen. What Bowen did to Ray and Peja was down right nasty.
