    Facing the Spurs, one of the better teams in NBA, only half time, and we very much in the game. I guess it will help your mood if you can just try to think a little bit more positively. Cheers.

    Face it Francis has a very low bball IQ. He's not going to learn anything because he can't.

    He shouldn't been chasing Parker or Manu all the time. SF gives up on PnR too easily. Maybe Yao shouldn't commit in this situation and let SF run around the pick. You would be daring Parker to take J. That is what other teams are doing to us. Yao's picks don't get their big men chasing SF because they chose not to.

    The Spurs have an EXCELLENT defense.... they can hold any offense down, let alone this Rockets one.

    Hell... they ran the Kings outta their own gym last week. They can win these games.

    Our only solution is to NOT TURN THE BALL OVER (unforced). Hopefully, we'll get enough shots in there to make a difference.

    yao passed the ball to steve with 3 secs or less on the shot clock like 3 times, each time yao passed up a 20 footer, and he's hit that 20 footer already once in this game. Steve's stats don't show the whole story tonight.

    It's just wrong for Yao to be chasing Parker and Gino all over the court. Yao should be parking near the paint! Damn it !

    Not sure JVG told him to shoot or pass at that situation. I guess Ming would follow coach's order. If JVG can tell him to keep shooting, and actually forbid him pass out if the clock is down to 5, maybe he can start to shoot more, given his FG%. I can not see the game, how sad, can anyone tell me whether those were open shots?

    The guy is too much of a team player on defense. The guy played 21 minutes. Where's Cato?

    These commentators are really beginning to piss me off. I know they are probably speaking the truth, but it boils down that the Houston Rockets have never been respected from the national media. All I remember is Marv Albert cheering for the Knicks in the Finals, everyone against us the second run, the Sports Illustrated fiasco, and the the years that follow. Houston, to them, is not a flashy city like LA, Chicago, and New York. I HATE the media.

    right you are, my main man from saskatchewan. we'll be invincible. This is playoff basketball, every possession is crucial, every play is filled with intensity, hard-nosed and rugged, and tightly-battled. This Rocket team will have the advantage in those type of games.

    I'm sure they're biased towards the flashy city of SAN ANTONIO...:rolleyes:

    You guys seriously have nothing but bad things to say right now. In fact, its no wonder that more stuff gets posted when this team loses, rather than when it wins.

    No wonder everybody started joining this board around the time the Rockets playoff runs were ending. Misery loves company.

    Doug Collins is the best in the business as far as color commentary.

    Good news: Only lose few points when Yao is on the bench;
    Bad news: Yao can not play other 24 minutes.

    Hopefully, other players SF/CM/JJ could show up later!

    That's what underdogs have to live with. Nobody gives us respect for free, we have to earn respect. Whether they like Rockets or not, they had to respect Dream. If we can contend and win, the media will start to respect us. Actually, not only us, looked at the Spurs. Remember last year's playoff when they faced Lakers? They lost a home game by blowing up a big lead? Everybody wrote them off, no champion mentality, Lakers are the true winner, blah blah all the crap. Media people are just suckups, after they won the title, everyone became Spurs' lover overnight. Before, it was that they were not talented enough, they lack of size, TD is emotionless, not strong enough, not enough offensive weapones. But the minute after their win, everything became positive. That's just how media is.
