ClutchFans Game Thread: Spurs @ Rockets 2/6/2021

I must say having the game on every other day at the exact same time has created some discord in the household. Is what it is baby. Can’t help it if the way Adam silver fights covid is to serve Rockets for dinner every evening at 5pm pacific time. We got the Spurs on the menu tonight!

 

Not as bad as those rims in Oklahoma City.

Fingers crossed for a strong Boogie performance, probably going to need it.

 

Another day of Rockets being too cheap to get a backup center or PG...

Rockets defense may take a dip, the question is how big of a dip is the defense going to take due to Boogies's limitations.

 

Almost like the good old days before we played three times a week.

 

Shoot we might be ok tonight. LeMarcus almost as limited laterally as Boogie and that big dude the Spurs has at center needs some size to neutralize him.

 

Got my fingers crossed.

Just dont have a lot of faith in this version of Boogie being more than a glorified 3ball shooter and passer.

And that's on a good day.

 

If Wall doesn't play it will be less exciting. I love that guy.

I will say this. The day we get a large rebounding four, with or without PJ on this roster, and a rebounding three is the day we take a major step forward. We basically spot the other team the rebounding category and still win a good deal of the time by out defending the competition.

 

I second this emotion.
