Ya our offense and defense through the first 3 quarters were pretty damn good. I really liked how andre barret and tmac would drive to the hole, draw the defender, find an open yao and pass him the ball, and he'd stuff it home. We even had some fast break points this game.
To be fair: This was a fantastic game. But it isn't the same as the three fantastic playoff wins. I put it right there with Maxwell's last second shot to beat the Spurs in 1994 and give us a 21-1 start.

here is a sweet example of the Rockets running the break, featuring a sweet pass to Yao setting up the slam Yao slams it down on the break

anyone else notice this: seconds after the game ended, steve kerr comments, "we had this game!" man, too funny! we know your biased, steve, but you gotta keep it to yourself!!
Thanks bro, but I cant view wmv or avi files at work comp. They dont allow any codecs to be downloaded, so all I get is audio but no video. I'm just sitting here praying someone goes to the trouble of converting this thing to a lower level codec or into RealMedia, hint hint
I especially like this response to all of it... Posted: Thu Dec 9, 2004 10:55 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lucky? Just like Horry was lucky? Haha! Nice response. Funny thing is, Barkley kept saying that they were all lucky shots over and over again. Geez Charles, we all know you picked the Spurs to win the title but your love for them IS getting a little out of hand.
Do I need a codec code or something to view that file from R2K? - Person who turned game off after Sura's air ball
Ok you guys can thank me now for that win... I moved up from row 21 to row 10 when the Rox were down 11 points with 4 minutes left, when everyone started to leave. Then I proceded to cheer like crazy for the rest of the game! BTW, I was the fool who left the Indiana triple overtime Moochie Norris game winning game in the Summit 3 years ago. But not this time. I stayed until the end. Great game.... Go Rockets!!!
Man I just saw the last few minutes of the game (Thanks R2K). And the most amazing shot was on T-mac's 4 pt play. He was just trying to draw the foul, and just tossed it up. But it actually went in. It wasn't even close to his normal stroke, but somehow he got it to fall. That was one of the most amazing performance I've ever seen. Just incredible.
hey R2K thanks a lot for the clips!!! are you going to post a BT link for the entire game too? I want to collect it.....
If it gets me any more sympathy, I also left early from the game in which Barry Bonds hit his 70th home run. Missed that as well. And I also left early from the UT - OSU game this year when UT came back from 35-7 to win big. I am not a patient man.
Okay just got home bare with me cuzz i am drunk out my ass. I actually got up with 30 seconds left to go with my head laying low....walked out with my date she went to bathroom so i sit there and watch the game...i see 1 three then the 4 point play..then i am like my god that's crazy... I was like man this is one heck of a game to be at. my date turns to me and goes...hey the rockets are going to win...and i was like i love your optimism because you got more than me...then he hits the next three i was like holy Sh&T lol....so everyone by this time that was leaving is gathered around all the tv's waiting for the broadcast to come back on becuase they have some stupid animation the screen with the score...theni hear the crowd going crazy and look at the tv and they still have the animation going yet the time is counting down and when they finally click over they show McGrady's last shot going in and everyone goes crazy... It was funny how she called it but i am glad to be a part of one of the greatest come backs i have ever seen.
