We had a garbage offensive night and still managed top push the best road team with the second best record in the NBA to it's limits. The Spurs played as well as they can possibly play on offense. Look at their shooting % whilst we played terrible.

Didn't get to watch the game, but I'm a little surprised that Nene didn't get more playing time against Aldridge and Gasol. I guess D'Antoni went with the small-ball strategy more.

Other than that, the Rockets almost got the win despite giving up a lot of size in the front court to one of the best teams. I'm good with this loss.

It was a good look for Gordon. And most other nights, he would drain it. But hindsight being 20/20, it would've been better to run another 15 or so seconds off the clock. The killer was that wide open look he bricked after Mills put the Spurs up 2. The good news is there's no way the Rockets shoot this badly collectively from the 3-point line again.

Nope, the Rockets lost this game whilst the Spurs shot the lights out from the 3pt line. Rockets don't shoot like this often. Houston would have won this easily had we shot even close to our normal clip.

To be fair, LMA had an off night not because of our defense. Their shots weren't falling in the second half simply because they were not shooting well. All in all, I am encouraged but not ready to say we are better than them

Rockets were playing great in 4th. Believe it or not, but Harden kinda messed it up when he came in.

Ok. I have had time to cool down. You know, you would not be a fan if this game didn't piss you off. No one likes to lose.

But remember this. About this time in 2004 San Antonio lost what, an 8 point lead in 35 seconds. Sound familiar? They have rings from that year that proves it is just one game. So.. Get on a plane, go out and bend Phoenix over and tell them to make you a sandwich when you are done with them. It is just one game.

Just got home. Don't even know what to say. One of the more deflating regular season losses in recent memory.

On a lighter note, Memphis lost tonight and Utah probably will too.

All this means is we wasted a golden opportunity to gain ground on 3 of our competitors.

So no one is gonna say that they see the big elephant in the room?

Regardless of all the bad things we did, regardless of what we did right, regardless of that we should have gone for a drive to the basket for 2 to tie the game................

HARDEN WAS ****ING FOULED ON THAT LAST SHOT!!

Btw, Glad that Harden just acknowledged and took responsibility for his turnovers late and for losing the game.

True, at least we only have to face the Spurs once more this year.
