I agree. And I do think they should. Especially KPJ im extremely low on in terms of effort.

With Green I don't think so. He may suck on defense but he tries hard usually. It's just that he's not very good at it.

Sengun isn't great defensively but he can be servicable if he tries hard

i disagree...sengun has a beast defensive potential...and we have seen the flashes of it...however hes not properly coached, developed and rewarded for his play...on contrary...he was punished last year for playing good defense and hes not even given the playing time... he still didnt play 10 full nba games (30+ minutes) for his career here...

well silas and lucas taught him well...it doesnt matter whether you try or not, play well or bad... youll still get no reward...and the way you get rewarded is to throw fit and soups....

the only time when silas rewarded alpi was after he trew fit in that one game early in the season when his teammates had to hold him down prevent him running towards silas...

Senguns PNR defense is probably some of the worst in the NBA. He can get up in the chaos and get you some blocks and shot alters, but in space he is terrible. Sorry, but it is what it is. The team sucks on defense with Sengun, but it sucks more on offense without him. Damned if you do damned if you dont. That said he's the most refined player on the team. His years as a pro are evident and have him way ahead of the pace. The other players play like young dumb players.

JG and Jabari will always get more rope than Sengun because they're typology is more relevant in the modern NBA. They're also higher draft picks. Sengun is still a fringe starter unless he shows otherwise.

KPJ....well I don't know what else needs to be said at this point.

 

If one of them doesn't play to his potential, they would get benched.

It takes for high end picks many years for sure until that measure would be taken.

Alperen will be fine, there are teams and coaches that value him more and could hide some of his weaknesses better.

That was honestly the highlight of the game for me (apart form having Vassell in fantasy) because I got to hear Ackerman commentate it.
