The Rockets will have a 6-10 point lead for most of the game, before giving up an 8-0 run in the final two minutes to lose by four.

    Spurs: 80
    Rockets: 76

The Rockets will proceed to be blown out by the Spurs on Saturday.

    Both predictions will not happen.

Rox will lose to Spurs not only by 3, Duncan will not guard yao, not to mention 6 blocks. Only AK47 can do that since he is really good on hiding behind centers.

Why play MoT on Bowen? Because you need his minutes and scoring but he will not do as well against Duncan. Bowen is not going to burn us offensively and we may be able to use Cato to slow Duncan. MoT in the post should be money against Bowen, that is why they may counter with Horry. If they do play Horry at the 3 we better be ready to play MoT there.

The game is on KNWS, not FSSW. We don't have any games on FSSW this year.

Except for games on TNT, every (yes, every, I repeat, every) game this season is on KNWS.

Darn it. And I was looking forward to watching Houston at home today. Stupid program guide, lying to me.

The lack of Rockets on FSW really limits what fans, even in Texas, can see of them without going out unless you live in Houston.

Any chance they'll be on a regional, instead of local, network anytime soon? Surely, the Spurs aren't that much more popular :(.

FSSW picks up alot of spurs games. It's posted on the Spurs page that the game is on FSSW.

Dang...if it's not I hope Cox picks this one up.

Finally, a local game in Austin. Woo hoo!

I pray that the Rocks can pull this one off. I don't care how ugly, I just want a win.

    Tim,

Speaking of KNWS, what are the chances of them bringing back the midnight rebroadcast. That's how I caught most of the games last year. Thanks.

    Apologies. Nick is right.

Games on ABC and TNT are exclusives, meaning no local KNWS broadcast. When ESPN or ESPN2 picks up our games, though, we still show the local KNWS broadcast. No FSSW in any case, though.

As to the question of whether our games will be on a regional sports network like FSSW -- yes, actually, that's the plan. But they won't be on FSSW. The plan right now is for the Houston Regional Sports Network to start up for the 05-06 Rockets season and carry all Rockets games, as well as all Astros games starting in 2006. And the network will work hard to get wide distribution -- probably quite a bit wider than KNWS reaches right now.

On the late night re-broadcasts -- we're working on that. I thought it was great when KNWS did that last year. We would definitely like to bring that back on the HRSN if not sooner.

Tough call tonight. Both teams playing well. Spurs might have a little incentive after the spanking we gave them in the preseason.
