Does anyone know if the Rockets have ever won back-to-back games before against the reigning conference champions?
Just settling down to the replay now. The baseline out of bounds play for the Spurs after Dwight fumbles the loose ball out of bounds. On League Pass the camera picks up Dwight talking on the defensive end. More like yelling.. "Everybody stay home" as the Parker looks like he's about to penetrate on D-Mo, then as Green drives past Harden towards the ring, "I'm coming I'm coming" I love hearing talk on the defensive end - it's a much more cohesive unit when the anchor is talking. LOVING IT.
How did D-Mo play because i couldn't see the game ? Only one FG, 3 rebounds, 1 ast and 2 TO in 25 minutes.
We took care of business but it should never have been that close in the 1st half, we coasted a bit but that's okay. Harden looked great on both ends!! Terry was awesome, he was leading on the court and getting up threes like crazy. Papa was very active, Canaan was solid and Howard was good. Defensively we are just a great team. Two 4-point plays in fact, I like it One thing though: our bench outside of Papa & Terry is just flat out ****. Troy Daniels is not earning anything with taking a 3 with 18 seconds to go, man in his face and 3 feet behind the line. Garcia also blew his chances by rushing threes, he's always good when he gets them off of a screen or after 2-3 passes. Defensively he looked okay though. D-Mo should never be in the starting line-up on any NBA team, but I understand why Papa needs to come off the bench.
Canaan did ok (heck the lofs would have gone bat**** if they had parker on 6-1-1 from 8 shots stat line), he wasnt off the bench today but he's obviously as much our starter as Baynes is for SA, and I've been under the impression the BAE is saved for Emeka (who even at 70% will be the best backup big in the nba). If we have 4 productive bench players, that's basically an nba rotation and 3 more than we had last year
