First off the players in the game in the last 8 min will more than likely never be together like that without harden or howard. That group was dismal. daniels. kpap. Garcia. Dorsey and capella.
Spurs should be glad that TJ and Beverly didn't play. That could have really gotten ugly. The Spurs have had trouble with both. And Harden didn't have his best shooting night. The games will be tighter in the future, but the outcomes might not be that different. (see last season's record) Oddly, the NBA champions may not be the champions had they played the Rockets first last year.

I feel just the opposite. I'm glad the Spurs rested their players against us of all teams. A win vs. a contender where your stars don't have to play 40 minutes? Sign me up!
