OMG, we no longer can go 82-0.

But at least the Spur is in the same situation.

******* Manu and his dirty ways......

Thats the Karl Malone knee to the balls move.

Someone needs to smack Manu hard to the floor one of these days so he never tries that crap again.

I love on the front page of ESPN the cover story is all about the NFL Power Rankings. On the front page on the NBA section it's all about Kobe. Last night when we lost all we saw on the front page was that "Terry Good Night" crap.

It's like we can't get any love no matter what we do. The only mentions we'll get are how the "experts" don't take us seriously yet and yada, yada, yada. Who cares that we just manhandled the defending champions, Yao and T-Mac have never won a playoff series!

No, that's just what happens when you block his shot mid-flop.

Rockets are getting a lot of hype/buzz lately though.

T-Mac especially, but the whole team has been gettin' what they deserve from the media. The loss to Dallas will hurt, but the win against SA will really help but god DAMNIT NOH needs to lose so they aren't undefeated. No one cares about the Clippers they'll be losing soon enough but NOH looks pretty strong.

there was a stretch in the 4th qtr where we had some very nice ball movement. we would pass to yao in the semi-high post, he would wait for the double and pass it out, we would repost him and he'd pass out until we got an open shot. it worked best with our starting 5. i dont know why adelman decided to substitute james and bonzi in because we were moving the ball great, but hey im not complaining :D

Reasons why to feel good after this win:

-We beat the defending champs, off a back-to-back game
    -Bonzi hasn't lost a step
-Mutombo showed a flash of his youth resurgence again
-Yao had his coming out game tonight (instead of the usual big game by Tmac), making our offense look more ballanced and unpredictable
-McGrady didn't have to dominate for us to win
-Scola or Head isn't even up to form yet (but its pretty certain they will eventually)
-Francis isn't up to form either
-We kept up our lead (which was a problem for us to do a year ago)
    -Hayes is still hustling
-Battier is still playing defense and making threes
-Tmac can still rack up assists and transform from "scorer" to "playmaker"
-Our defense still looks pretty good
-Our bench is still playing strong
-Both Tmac AND Yao look like potential MVP candidates
-Both James AND Wells look like potential 6th man AND MIP candidates
-Our team hasn't even formed a definite identity yet

    Basically, we're good now...and we'll be even better later...scary

I was really happy to see the Rockets win. Yao Ming and Bonzi Wells were absolutely spectacular. It is nice to see that even when T-mac has an off night, the Rockets can still perform well. It is even sweeter to see this great performance against the champions.

Tmac could not find his shooting rhythm but Yao and Bonzi played great. In the past if tmac got 12 pts in a game vs spurs, rox could hardly win but now rox can do that!
    Go rockets! Go tmac!

Quick question, I don't want to start a new thread

Do those mms links work on macs if i have Windows Media Player? They didn't for me, but I just signed on at around the third quarter so I guess they were expired anyways.

You know we won last year against the Spurs without Tmac. Yao and Bonzi also killed the Spurs in that game. That's really all we need to beat the spurs, and some outside shooting. heh :p

but we also beat the spurs w/o yao.

and those games dont' matter b/c they're reg. season games. we won't beat them in the playoffs if both don't show up.

ala tmac singlehandedly beating the jazz last yr w/ 44 pts. he got 29 and 13 in game 7 and we still lost.

reg. season games => just seedings.

I'll take playing for "just seedings" any day. It would be nice to see a first round matchup against the Lakers/Warriors or some team that isn't in the top 6. Just not New Orleans oh dear god, I would rather play Utah again than see them in the first round.

We really REALLY need to trade for Chris Duhon. He made Chris Paul cry his freshman year when Wake came to Duke. I was there. Rack it.

    :)

I could definitely read. You seem to be the one who couldn't. I said that not because of that one single post. I said that because of his track record. That moron is a certified hater. Just read his first 50 posts on this site when he didn't even pretend to be anything other than a Yao hater.

yup chris paul is gonna burn rafer to death. chris paul in my opinion is going to be the #1 PG next yr.

he had 21 assists passing to decent players. nash has all-stars.

and james too many shoots too few assists, as a PG, did a terrible job, almost not passed to other rockets
