hahaha. When I saw that, I was like "whoa is that JVG???"

    Who knows ... ?

Hmm it's going to be interesting if the Rox have a national televised game that is broadcasted by JVG. I'd look forward to what he has to say. He's a pretty good broadcaster from how I've heard him analyze the game. Much better than the average broadcaster.

nice performance by yao, not so much tmac :(

but seriously, 13 reb and 6 assist from yao...that's almost half of what the spurs had as a total (28 reb and 14 assists)

and lol yao had more assist than the spurs pg, parker

also, definitely a nice performance from mj and wells

yao needs to stop doing those one-handed low passes out of the post that get easily picked off, and he needs to DUNK IT when hes an inch from the basket instead of laying it up. otherwise he had good buckets at the end.

YAO 's TOs hurting the team as much as TMAC bad shooting... i\If big man somehow can manage it down to 3, then we are good and he should be the clutch player for us.

    finally!

now we finally see what a combination of T-Mac, Yao and Bonzi can do to the Spurs. that's right, the Rockets have 3 bona fide Spurs killers. Yao always plays big against the Spurs, who can forget T-Mac's 13 in 35, and we're seeing a continuation of Bonzi's stellar play from the playoffs.

once the Rockets can start mastering the new offense, there will be no more 40% shooting nights, and so many stupid turnovers. the only teams left to be concerned about are Phoenix and Dallas. Utah's problematic in their use of Boozer and Okur, but they have no depth or an answer for Bonzi as well.

Bonzi and Yao carried the team tonight. Adelman wants MJ to finish games because he's a scorer but he doesn't handle the ball or run the offense as well as Skip. After Adelman made a great adjustment and put Skip in the game Yao got the ball in the low post and he produced with two buckets and two FTs.

Yao's defense on of Duncan was killer. Only thing I wish Scola would have had a better game so the Spurs could mourn losing him more after tonight. I still think he will be a very good NBA PF he's having a few growing pains right now.

Nice win.... a big confidence boost.....

judging from last three seasons' performances, it seems to me that we are better off with Spurs than Mavs and perhaps the most difficult one to deal with is Suns.....
    well......waiting for the next testimony

Refs still f***ing with the Rockets. This is all about matchups from game to game and Adelman seems good at reading these and playing the right guys. Tmac had Bruce Bowen on him and Stern is scared of Bruce so the refs will never call his cheating err defense what it is - a foul by anyone else. When Tmac made his move to catch a pass I saw BB push him in the back more than once.

And sing it with me now (to the tune of Flipper, the Dolphin) We call him flopper, flopper, flopper, Gi-nobili is he, a cheat we agree..... :p

Scola was disappointing.Maybe he was nervous against them. He has got to get going on offense when Yao is out.

Yao's performance will never be able to satisfy you. The guy has to play a 100% perfect and flawless game in order to escape your criticism. Who do you think you are anyway? You are really a pathetic person to waste your life to hate on someone on the internet and that someone doesn't give a damn about who you are.

Yeah, he played horrible against the Spurs in the pre-season as well. I think he's extremely nurvous playing against his friends and his home town is probably all Spurs fans.

That's ok, he'll get over it soon.

Adelman was obviously barking at Yao to pass the ball overhand, up high, rather than down low. You could see it on the sidelines. And he does need to dunk the ball when he's close enough.

I'll add that the turnovers need to come down. Scoring big doesn't matter if you give points away.

But, Yao did well in regrouping from all that, and getting dunked on by Manu, after...what was it.....?? A Yao turnover.
