6 assists! Is this Yao's career high?

As much hate that Rafer receives on here it was him that actually was able to get the ball across mid court and keep us in check on our road to victory.

Coach A was stellar in his decision making to actually include the players he felt would seal this coveted victory for us.

    Bonzi = Rebounds galore!

we get more than 20 rebounds but only head by 8 points, so be careful, we have a lot of things to do. ;)

If we meet up with the Spurs in the playoffs, Bonzi's contract (and the Adelman signing by extension) will prove to be invaluable.

    Bet that.

We did a lot of things different than last night...

But most importantly... we went to Yao when it mattered most.

Some great things I really liked about this game.

Bonzi of course.. he should be more aggressive every game like this.
Yao hit some HUGE shots down the stretch against Duncan when we really needed them.
Battier with that three toward the end was sweet.
Rafer sucks but when none of our PGs could handle the press toward the end, Rafer did (or at least I thought he did).

The thing I liked the most was that TMac did not jack up 30 shots when he was cold... iono what happened (looked like they went to Yao a lot more in the beginning), but he wasn't hot and he didn't keep shooting to pick it up. He became more of a playmaker today... I think we have enough fire power where if TMac or Yao is off for a night, they should not be taking 30-40 shots and only making 10-15.

    Great game overall

This synergy between Bonzi and Yao was a thing of beauty. I hope this is just the beginning .

yao and bonzi carried the team tonight.

but we're not where we want to be.

adelman has got to be able to incorporate tmac and yao at the same time. we can't just have one guy go off each game. tmac for the first 4 and yao today.

we need our 2 guys to go off TOGETHER + the bench for us to be truly elite.

adelman ignored yao a few times in the 2nd half v. dallas. he COMPLETELY ignored tmac tonight in the 2nd half. we need to get our 2 guys going at the same time.

but good gutsy game. we have a long ways to go and to beat the champs, good feeling

Bonzi just needs to keep taking it strong to the hole. He's virtually unguardable by any of the 2 guards.

Guess that Coach 'A' made the adjustments and see what good came our way! What was wrong with McGrady, his game seemed off a little but I did like him being a playmaker, he's so good at it! :p

I didn't like how Parker and Gino penetrated at will and challenged Yao to block/foul.

But awesome win. They finally sealed one with a quality opponent.

tmac didn't shoot b/c we ran only 3 plays for him in the 2nd half. he didn't even touch the ball much in the 2nd half believe it or not.

we pounded in to yao and thats the right play. yao delivered.

glad to see yao adept to ra's system better....

the only thing i worry about is yao's drawing shooting foul has decreased in large number

I remember in an article written after the Spurs beat the Kings they talked about how Bonzi almost single handedly destroyed the Spurs because of his size and offensive rebounding prowess.
