Gotta give credit to the big guy. Yao recovered from the pressure and finished out strong.Props to the Bonz and Battier too.

Yao is becoming a dependable go to guy in the final few minutes of the game this season. Even in the Jazz game when his stats weren't that great, he still hit some cold blooded shots in the final two minutes. If you notice in the Mavs loss, the Rockets seemed to avoid going to him at the end granted the Mavs did go into a zone defense and he was having a high turnover rate. I really do like this teams depth and the fact that we have a certified Spurs killer in Bonzi Wells but I worry about their ability to close out games in the playoffs. Those wasted timeouts and unforced turnovers in a more intense atmosphere will likely result in a loss next time.
I told you it is the rebounding. The Rebounding. THE REBOUNDING!!!!!!!!!!!! Fundamentals people, fundamentals!!!!!!!!
I'm glad the Rockets didn't put it in TMac's hands every possession down the stretch. Much better balance tonight compared with last night.
Bonzi: Say foo, I scored 14 motha fkin points and grabbed 15 gd damn rebounds, where the hell is my thread?! IBTL

Bonzi and Yao should be a couple, they match perfectly. The two should be on the court at the same time, they have some soul connection.
What I absolutely loved about this game was the sequence from about 3 minutes left when we were in danger of losing. We go to Yao in the low post. He takes their main man head on and scores. Next possession, go to Yao in the post again, back down Timmy, score. Next possession, Yao in the post again, back down, draws foul. Next possession, Yao in the post, back down, draws double, ball rotation, Battier cans the open trey. Yao took it right at their main guy, their HOF big man, and sealed the game.
We still have not seen the best of what is to come from the Rockets, Wow! And we're getting the tough part of the schedule over now.
I'm glad Bonzi won player of the game. We should expect performances like this from the big fella. Bonzi was operating on a different planet tonight and made the difference. He has the number of the Spurs. Yao looks to be finding his stride, the level we saw last season before the injury. If he keeps it up, and Bonzi keeps doing what he did tonight, we're lookin' better than good!
