We need to keep this up , if we calm down they will come back and beat us.
Bonzi is indeed the Spurs killer , I just love the way he man handles Ginoflop.
T-Mac and Yao didn't even play so well.
Duncan will bounce back in the 2nd half for sure though.
Expect him to spend a lot of time on the line , the refs will give him a lot of calls , Ginobili too.
    LOVIN' this

Is Yao Tim Duncan's primary defender? Damn, for all the criticisms he's received for being a "defensive liability" against Utah he's doing a pretty good job, isn't he?

Oh yeah what a quater, what a game. I like that cause we're not gettin' any callas but we are still able to outplay them. You know what, our defense is just great. I just hope that will continue in the 2nd half. We need to attack the paint, get more ft.

But generally I like our Game. We are good we are deep. We can play defense and we're a lot better on the offensive end.

Thanks James and Bonzi. That's what Bonzi has to do (not only again SAS). He has to attack. Damn, I didn't know he's that good rebounder

yao just sucks v. the jazz. boozer is way too quick for him. if mean, if he guards KG or something, it'll be the same case.

duncan has slowed down CONSIDERABLY w/ his quickness. he' just as slow as yao :D

but i love yao's impact on D right now.

but we wouldn't have this lead without bonzi. he's the true MVP right now

He is. The difference in this game is duncan is backing him down, not facing him up. Yao is amazing when people try to post him up, problem is, nowadays people don't try it that much.

I hate the Spurs. They're such a "cerebral" team. They'll toy around with you until the playoffs. Then they kick it up a notch. Why can't they just play their best in the regular season????

So far, my favorite part of the game you ask?

The aging African's AKA Mutombo's killer dunk...I damned near spilled my beer jumping up for that one!

Whenever he starts to lose respect, he pulls out his championship rings to remind himself that....

    Cheating does get rewarded!

Yes. Tim Duncan has tried to back it in and score on him about 4-5 times and has not succeeded once.

He shouldn't even be guarding Boozer. It's just that Okur causes mismatches by playing like a guard. Yao is playing really well right now, he's not forcing things and he's anchoring the defense. I'm glad that the bench picked it up this game!

    1. Everything's contested -- I love it.
    2. We're destroying them on the boards
    3. They have no answer for Bonzi
    4. We're clearly frustrating Duncan and Parker

    and.....

    5. We're playing them this well with Yao and T-Mac relatively in check (Qtr 1: Yao hot/T-Mac cold, Qtr 2: Yao cold/T-Mac hot)

LET'S KEEP IT UP AND RIDE THIS ONE HOME TO A "W"!
