ClutchFans Game Thread: Spurs @ Rockets 11/29/2008

Let me optimistic for a minute. Remember when the Rockets blew *two* 20 point fourth quarter leads at home against the Suns in the 1994 playoffs? Well, the fact that the Rockets are getting these leads is something to build on. The Rockets were actually one of the better teams in the league last year at closing out 4th quarter leads. There is no reason that they can't get back there. Artest is still feeling his way on the team, Battier just came back and McGrady isn't healthy. The Rockets are going to get going and be one of the best teams in the league.

i thought they said tmac was just gonna sit one game out and play today..

if he doesn't mind, he would have sat out the entire season so far until he's healthy enough to play, instead of playing till battier returns.

 

game-time decision, but hopefully he'll play. we need the next few games to really keep steady within this tight conference as a bunch of teams are either 9-5 or 10-6. we need some separation.

tracy should rest games where we'll have long breaks in between like the pacers game (he gets overall 4 days of rest).

This game is winnable without T-mac but I don't see us winning this game without him or the Denver game.
