I've noticed, though Head has shot very for the season overall and Snyder has played decent (where was he today?), guards off the bench on the opposing team seem to come in and get decent numbers. Not exactly lighting Rockets up but scoring in double figures almost every game. Derek Fisher 1st game and Udrih today and guys in beween like Anthony Johnson. Luckily Rockets have won more than they lost but I wonder why that is.

On the JVG thing, today's DNPs:
    Steve Novak
    Vassilis Spanoulis
    John Lucas

All rookies, no surprise. And no Bonzi.

The turning point of the game:
    leading 17
Udrih hit 2 3p shots in a row while Rafer who had almost zero rest at 1st half touched his low point of stamina simultaneously.

i didnt watch the game but from what i've read and seen on the box score...spurs really locked down yao...limitting him to just 7-21...i'm guessing tracy had to step up then...judging from his 26 points, 6 assists and 8 rebounds...BUT DAMN! how did we blow a 19 point lead in the fourth?...do i see a freakin pattern man?...we're blowing all our terrific leads in the fourth quarters...every game this season......why doesnt jvg send on some fresh blood like novak and vspan?...i mean...tracy was on there for 39 minutes...i dont hate jvg...but maybe he needs a fresh perspective on taking risks with rookies...

and rightfully so. they need to be regulated. I do think showing vspan would've been a positive move... head and alston just didn't have the defense tonight.

Yeah, I love how most people refuse to bring up the race issue as to why people like to bash Yao, but we all know it's more about race than athletic play. It really is that elephant in the room that people are uneasy to confront or acknowledge.

The "Ching-Chong" and "Chinaman" comments are just all right in this country....just don't insult Jews or Blacks, then it's all good. Got to love how the system works.

if we can go .500 this week then we should be happy.

actually weren't we (here) saying that if we can have a winning record after the first 10 games it would be a success? well who cares about one loss then? we will still reach a good mark.

i guess this one hurts more because of the big lead we gave up.

you guys realize rookies will play if they wreck in practice right? they're obviously not playing so hot. I mean, since they're playing against each other, they're practicing against the best in the league.

McGrady was attacking in the first half and hitting 3s and finding the open shooters....good to see.

Rocks win first half with authority, and the Spurs simply played good D and hit some perimeter shots and pulled off a W. Most other teams would have folded, but not the Spurs.

Sprinkle in Bonzi Wells, Chuck Hayes and Rocks playing team ball for 48 mins and this would be a win.

Rocks will probably win in SA and we will all be happy!!!...next game.

The next few games will be crucial. I want to see how we respond to a loss like this.

We, as Rocket fans, were riding such a wave that it was bound to come down sooner or later. It's a long season, and we haven't gotten used to losing which is a good thing. We're going to have a hangover tonight and tomorrow. Here's looking forward to seeing our team regroup Thursday!

Spurs D is a big reason. They defend Yao better than anyone in the league. They are the best defense team.

There is no excuse for blowing a 19 point lead. We must win against the Bulls.

why a post like this make me sick?

this person must think he is a man because he is capable of writing something tough behind the screen.
