If JVG play VSpan, this will be a blow out win.

This team is just lacking mental toughness.

They played their bench more because their starters SUCKED for three quarters.

If the Rockets were losing by 15 in the 3rd, hell yes JVG would have gone to players that were hustling. But, the guys that were in there at the time were playing pretty damn good (hell, some people were complaining that he was resting Yao and T-mac too much, and not playing them enough together).

If he rests his stars and the Spurs comeback, he's blamed... he left them in, and the Spurs came back with the vaunted trio of Udrich, Horry, and Finley... and he gets blamed.

Every player should be held accountable, and JVG gets held accountable for not developing stronger players. Both Yao and T-mac needed to man up when the Spurs started getting cocky... neither could respond.

But yea... Novack would have been the difference.

What the Hell happened? I turned the game off to do some homework because the rockets were up by 17! How could they blow it like that

Not his incompetence to adjust! Yao got completely out of his rhythem when the outside shooters stopped going through Yao.
We lost because we went to sleep late in the third, when we stopped playing defence. We just let them back into the game! Also JVG insists on playing Howard and Padgett two players very much over the hill.

it was a bad game but there were a lot of problems that are correctable

yao missed a lot of shots he normally makes, he got bumped a lot with a lot of no calls. the spurs are generally known as one of the teams in the nba to get more than their fair share of calls

the spurs defense was excellent in the second half, but the rockets missed a lot of wide open shots...you dont miss something like 22 of 24 shots solely on great defense.

the rockets did not get into their offense early which was the key in the first half, a lot of times rafer/luther dribbled the ball so much at the top of the key it reminded me of the francis mobley days

the bench was nonexistant, it really exposed the need for chuck hayes whos hustle and intensity would have helped big time today. I stopped counting but i do know that the spurs got 10 of their first 21 points on 2nd chance opportunities. A lot of these were on tips that you usually see chuck end up with.

i was hoping the rockets would win but the spurs are just too good right now, i am amazed though at the fashion that they lost. a few quicks 3s and boom the spurs were back in it. it didnt help that the rockets went into the coldest shooting stretch they've had this season

Positive is tracy. i guess this loss will teach us that against the best 36 minutes of solid ball aint gonna get it done. 48 minutes of commited ball is the answer.

This is not the end of the world yall.

There were sparks of what this team can be and it WILL come together. Tmac had his stroke going and that was great to see. Yao had a bad game, which may have been adjusting to a different offensive set because of no Chuck.

If you can say there are good losses.. this is one. They will watch the tapes and things that went wrong in the late 3rd and 4th quarters will be addressed. Next time we meet up the Spurs will fall.

there is no one to blame. they are better. period.

they have a bench that can produce. (beno, finley, barry, horry, elson)

we have a bench that can barely stop the bleeding, most nights. (head, snyder, padgett, deke)

HAYES AND BONZI would have made a WORLD of difference tonight.

Is it wrong to want to see someone take his head off when you bops it back like he does? Heck, if it, I dont want to be right. Man, I hate that guy!

STOP DOING THESE YAO, if you want to be a real superstar.

    1. Outruns all the centers in defensing. What's the point of doing that? Good centers do not leave their names in the hall of fames by defending the fast break. You don't know your weakness. That's very scary. Your stamina sucks. Use your ennergy in offense, esp in offensive rebound

    2. High five everyone all the shots they made. Totally no need to do so. On some good plays, YES, please.

    3. Too many body languages, just too many. No one will tell what you mean without speaking out.

Please Yao, express your feeling like you played for the Chinese National Team. Communicate more with the coach and your teammates. Esp with coach who doesn't really know Vspan can pass your the ball the best so far in Rockets expect for TMAC

Well those sissy layups and jumpers worked just fine last week. You do realize any player can have an off night, don't you?

Now before I do a little search on your post history to see if you are a YOH, get a grip and pull your head outta your ass.
