How are we going to contain Parker? I am terrified that he's going to bury us. This one is going to be very hard for us to win, seeing how the Spurs are already rolling like tis January. If we play sloppy/disjointed ball for even a quarter or two, we haven't got much of a chance.

I hope the good guys prove me wrong, as always!

Just came back from a lot of Chinese websites, nearly 80% CHN fans thought we would lose this game.

I'm in the Cleveland area, any gatherings for this game tonight? Of course, I'll buy a round.

I am very worried about Bruce Bowen. He is dirty not only with his feet but also with his hands. I remember Yao saying before that whenever Bowen was doubling him he couldn't see anything because Bowen's hands would be only inches away from his eyes. I would be real pissed if Bowen "inadvertently" poked Yao in the eye and forced him to leave the court.

The spurs are not that scary. they are 6-1 but, except for Dallas (and i am not counting the declining Suns), they have only played Eastern Conference teams (Toronto, NY twice and Cleveland).
The Rockets are clearly the best team they are meeting so far.

Now that Chuck Hayes won't be playing , maybe we can have Novak park outside the 3pt line and get more room for Yao to do his thing in the middle. If Duncan is gonna be guarding Yao, Yao can just shoot over him. Yao is gonna get his points tonight.

If Bruce Lee...I meant Bowen is going to try his dirty trick and poke Yao in the eyes, I sure hope that Bonzi will drop some jail blazer moves on him :)

Clash of the Titans! Rockets with a Win!

The Spurs are 5-1 not 6-1 & I agree Rox are probably the hardiest team they will face in this young season.

Bleeding Rocket's Red, it is tough living among the "GO SPURS GO" crowd in San Antonio. Every sports report pisses me off. They interviewed their no name center on the radios this morning, talking about how he's gonna stop Yao. "You just have to front him and make sure that he can't get any shots off!"

Did the dude not watch the Miami game? Yao is unftrontable. Last time i checked, random euro dude isn't exactly Shaq . . . and we all saw how that matchup went.

The Spurs and thier fans attitude really makes me want to strangle people (that being said, I haven't turned down the sweet season tickets the office has).

    Go Rockets!

I live in San Antonio too and their loves of the Spurs makes me puke. They talk about Bowen's play as though it is just good hard defense. And Ginobili's flopping drives me nuts.

BUT, I wish Houston had as much fan support as the Spurs do. I'm afraid we're going to lose tonight, no Chuck, McGrady not shooting well, SA usually kicks our butt, Ginobilli will flop, and no one to guard Parker (can Battier guard Duncan?). It would be nice to see Wells play...

i don't get this... why does austin not get this game? the spurs are the local team and the game is nationally televised. shouldn't one of those (local TV or NBATV) supersede the other?

Nationally sometimes is different than what they decide to do locally.
When I was in Austin they didn't show games on those stations even when it was listed nationally that they should have.

Hope they play the upcoming San Antonion Houston game for the Austin Rocket fans.

"you have to front him and make sure that he can't get any shots off!"
Are you freakin kidding me...thats his gameplan? Nice....hmmm...I guess when Jordan was playing, everybody should have just stayed with him and not let him get his shot off....thats awsome....I guess you defend Peyton Manning by putting your hands up and knocking down every ball before he gets it to Harrison or Wayne....
I've never heard anything more assanine thanthat comment....its just so simple, why didn't the rest of the league think of that? all you have to do is front him and not let him shoot...What will Yao do? I wonder if yao can use this same technological advancement in defense to defend Duncan...
We should hold parker to 0 pts...Rafer just needs to be quick on his feet and not let Parker shoot....Folks, we may have a 0-0 score ...I don't see anybody winning this game if nobody can get a shot off

    UN FU&!NG believable!!!! :D
