    WOW..........

This together with the game with Detroit Piston shortly within the week are tough nuts to crack.

We have won statement games against the champion (Miami Heats) and the Western Conference champion (Dallas Mavericks).

If we can continue to win against San Antonio Spurs and Detroit Pistons....both shared 3 to 4 championships rings amongst them in the past 5 years, then we can confidently say

    HERE WE COME !!! :D

The Spurs are so deep and we need our bench to step up tonight.

I get the feeling that Yao is not backing down from anyone and will carry the Rox to victory tomorrow.

The Spurs will try and swarm him, he must play it smart with quick passes out of the double teams and catch and shoots. As long as the perimeter guys hit a solid % of the open shots, Yao will have a field day against Spurs.

I hope this current display from Yao is only the entree b/c he's radiating Hakeem-like vibes. Sort of like when Hakeem shifted focus, shrugged off all criticism and BS from the media, and let his sustained excellence on the court irreputably put the doubters in their little pigeon holes.

Yao has given me reasons to enjoy the season. :)

it isn't what we think that matters, whether some of us like jho or not, it is a reality jvg is going to play him. heck you can convince the whole board that jho sucks and vspan should be getting quality minutes, and even if all of us agree, jvg still will do his own thing

jho getting scrum minutes as backup center? it is going to be deke...

jho played 29 minutes in miami, that is not going to change in this game, i'm not sure any explanation would make you satisfied

JVG or anyone on the whole staff the rockets haven't even begun to think about what you write. and when they do put in juwan or not put in vspan, they are purposely trying to lose this game.

i'm not trying to ruin your day, you are entitled to your views, but how you see things is not rockets reality.

this is the rockets for the near future, get used to it, and not only you but whoever has the same views as you, because for better or worse,THIS IS IT

go ahead and believe your predictions, but you have better ways to use your imagination

if we beat the spurs ill be really happy, but im kinda worried about how we play the up-tempo teams. new orleans beat us with that style and phoenix is just electric....i know that the suns are off right now, but you gotta figure that they'll pick it up soon enough. hope we can figure out how to beat these up-tempo teams..

Of course it will be a hard battle to beat Spurs, and Rox will win until the last 1 minute.
May be Span will get more minutes.

Here's an interesting article from Hoopsworld.

Rockets: Only Two People Can Stop Yao Ming

I don't have the previllege to post it in a new thread. If any member thinks it's good, feel free to start a new thread.

If T-Mac is being unselfish throughout the game and Yao stays out of foul trouble, we have the money to beat the Spurs.

Factors in favor of Rockets to win:

    1) Spurs tends not to play in their full strengh in early season, they don't want to get too hot before the new year and want to stay healthy.

    2) They have NOT won more than three concecutive road games in any November in this centuary.

    3) There have always been dog fight games between these two teams no matter how strong Spurs are.

    4) We are the underdogs here. Spurs have nothing more to prove to us. We need this game to send them a message.

This is the Texas Derby, bring it on!

May the force be with you! Go Rockets!

You guys are on the wrong side of the country, Sydney pffffft

Perth is where it's at :D

Big game for the Rockets, Hopefully Yao can continue to dominate and Tracy steps it up. Will need Alston, Battier, Head and Synder to knock down any oppurtunities they get from the 3 as well.
