    Mike:

    Defensively, step back?

Yeah. They churned us up. Got to the rim too many times. We need to do better closing out. Didn't make our share of shots. Felt like they(shots) were OK, didn't make them. Good game for us because it gets you ready for the season. This was good.

    Feel like you're less prepared?

Shouldn't be. We'll be ready. We'll have a day off & two good practices. Long season. Some things we need to work on. That's why you have preseason.

    Chris OK?

I think he's okay. We'll keep monitoring. Should be ready Tuesday.

Getting in sync with new guys?

If it didn't, we'll start slower. It's a marathon. We won't the NBA title in October. We'll take what's thrown at us & keep working & keep getting better. This was a good game. We see what we gotta do & get better at. This on film is not good enough if we want to contend with the top teams. They'll hunker down & try and do it.

Joe Chee played well. He can steal minutes somewhere. Demetrius [looked good] too.

anderson played like utter fuking crap on both ends, but that's to be expected.

    capela very disappointing.

    harden disappointing.

mda badly outcoached by pops as usual.

rudy gay looks like a steal for the sperms.

looks like 4th seed most probable for us

the usual meltdown on here is happening it seems...

No Paul and no Nene and people already going nuts

the only thing i was a bit miffed about was D'Antoni not using more players in the rotation like Pop did, Pop gives his players enough time to shine

Harden shows his agreement on McHale with his playing.

From being at the game with a great baseline view it was clear we were trying to practice 5 out with the center initiating.

Also running a lot to get Tarik comfortable in the offense.

I wouldn't take too much away from this offensively.

Capela still looks weak and makes too many stupid mistakes.

Might be but we are not that much better than the Spurs than some guy said even before we played a game.

I reckon it would still be a dog fight with C3 and Kawhi. Preaseason and what not.

Our defensive rotations are still out of sync. Gordon got beat a lot the entire preseason. he needs to be awake defensively at all times. And im not comfortable with all the pointing and directing in the offensive sets, i guess the more familiar the core guys are with each other. The better for us. We've got a long way to go to have a GS type of chemistry and feel for each other on both ends of the floor.

If CF thought this game was bad, wait until the season opener vs the Warriors.
This team has zero off-ball movement. It starts at the top with Harden. He just stands around the wing when CP3 has the ball.
I don't know if that's bad coaching or just Harden is setting a lazy example but last year we had a lot more cuts to the rim.

Pop usually gets the best of MDA.

Tucker isn't great at 3pt shooting..... Draymond lite? Draymond got 80% more mobility.
