    Agree.

I don't think Yao shoot less itself is a problem. But not being to get the ball to Yao and as a result he can't chances even when he iis shooting well is a big problem, it means the offense has some trouble and the team is struggling to beat the fronting/DT of Yao.

This is a problem we have to solve. Forcing the ball to Yao is definitly a bad idea, though.

As long as Hayes is starting, teams will double team Yao and let Hayes try to beat them with point blank shoots.

the teams i think we can beat pretty easily in the first round are: nuggets, lakers, blazers.

the nuggets just play ZERO defense and tmac and yao always carve them up. our D can slow them down just enough.

the lakers can be dangerous. but i think when bynum returns, he's not on a level where he can pull himself together and be great again. he was SENSATIONAL for them earlier on. but we can beat them in 5 or 6.

    the blazers are too inexperienced.

the teams we match up well and CAN beat are: the spurs and utah.
we match up EXTREMELY well w/ the spurs for some reason. maybe it's b/c they don't fastbreak/run as much as other teams. and they play low scoring games, which we like to do also.
utah is just not a good road team this year, for some reason. and i think as we get better as the season goes on, we'll have more options that we did last yr. utah has taken a step back with the same core. we took a step back with a fairly different core but now we're doing better.

the teams we will struggle with: dallas, suns, and warriors
dallas just has better guards than us. that's the game right there. their shooting and quickness of the guard position are a huge threat. and the JET is a rocket-killer. but aaron brooks didn't play a lot earlier in the season. maybe he can be our devin harris later on and possible negate that quickness.

suns and warriors are similar. but i think the warriors are even a tougher matchup b/c their big guys don't play inside a lot. amare of the suns does. so yao will give up a TON of 3s to harrington/barnes.

but let's stay focused on playing well and just getting better. if we gel and peak at the right time (meaning tmac is healthy, everyone else picks up the O), we'll be fine.

the team should play for itself. the playoffs will take care of itself if we take care of our business. there are still 2.5 months left so that's a lot of time. let's go rockets.

It was I think gm 3 or 4 when they could have reall took control. He's a good ft shooter though. It does seem like he misses some in the 4th

    Fun game.

Best part for me was sitting behind the HUGE section of Spurs fans and heckling them throughout the game while getting my grub on at the Red & White.

This getting to be a great rivalry. I was there for the 55+ crew that rolled up to San Antonio last season and it looks like they doubled that over here at the Toyota Center. Hope we get to meet in the playoffs.

...oh and the pass from Yao to Bonzi was awesome and Landry... :D
