he did have a good game, but the shots he took in the 1st half were terrible, he settled down after he found out he couldn't make them though. He was def. playing erratically.

Well Mr. Picky I wanted to put a green box over really positive stats. An example is something out of the ordinary, like Yao only having 1 turnover. I should've put a green box over Tracy having 0 turnovers. He handles the ball a lot, and his presence will get him assists. Now with that said, if we hit more threes, and Chuck hit more layups, I bet his assist total would be worth boxing in.

Landry's -9 +/- is highly negative and worth boxing in, considering it was the worst one. It's not like I'm saying Landry sucks. Obviously, that stat only means so much. It's not Landry's fault if Head plays horrible D and gives up a layup. That layup would shave off 2 pts off his +/-. Whatever. But regardless, it's negative, and was the worst on the team, so I boxed it. There's no hidden meaning behind the boxes.

As far as watching the games. I didn't watch this game. It's hard to watch them, when you're in Austin, they're not on TV, and you don't have a stable internet connection. And I am not going outside in 30 degree weather. Since the game was on NBATV, there were no MMS links (WTF is that all about?)

I was stuck listening to the SPURS radio broadcasters in my dorm room. Now that is dedication.

You ain't helping yourself with the "screaming posts." Purple's a nice color, though. At least it isn't red. ;)

Bonzi? He's not quite at %100, yet he continues to sacrifice his body to get foul calls. He is right under Yao as our most to receive BS calls from refs player. Unless the defender backhands him in the eye, then uppercuts his throat, while standing 3 feet in front of a ref, the refs won't call anything for Bonzi.

While I also live in Austin and watched the game in HD on my 42" display, I have to give you credit for dedication... listening to any Spurs broadcast, TV or radio, is as bad as getting a root canal, IMO. Props deserved (and I was a poor student back in the day). You should look for the game when R2K posts it here. Landry was doing some amazing things while he was in. We haven't seen a 4 like him in ages. Not in a Rockets uniform. True, he hasn't played a lot, but Adelman appears to not only think he has game, but will actually play rookies. We had three freakin' rookies playing at a time against the Spurs! Imagine Van Gundy doing that.

Matt Bonner fails. Scott Padgett would've totally made that last shot.

i don't have much experience with the different sizes, i just wanted it a tad bigger than normal. i was just too lazy to preview my post just for a post-game topic.

Red is way too overused even though it's normally used for trying to stand out. I'm going to give you some pretty brown.

TMAC on court = NO BALL MOVEMENT.

    Who is the PG?
    Aeron Brook.
    Alston
    TMac

Why is the ball always on TMAC's hand?

This sure is a nice win. But I am still very concerned that Rockets did not improve at all with their inability to close the game... :(

I know this isn't the right place to post this, but there is this absolutely GOLDEN photoshop thread on the Spurs forum.

Here is one pic that I can't get over:

Notice that there's no Rockets on the pic

I think our problem with closing out games all has everything to do with our rotations. I think tracy, yao, battier, and scola should be in the final 7+ minutes of every game.

Brooks and Landry need a bit more time as well, they both have proven themselves, and they both can be alot more productive to the team. Rookies or not, they both have stepped up big time during 4th quarters, close games, and tough situations so they have already proven themselves capable.

They need more minutes in the 2nd, 3rd, and start of 4th qtrs. This would keep our finishers rested to finish the games. I think Brooks especially needs more minutes. He always seems like he has so much more to give, and he's about to make-up for his lack of production in a rotation just before Adelman sits him on the bench for the rest of a half or game.

I would consider a close win over healthy defending champion an improvement.

Hate to break it to you but....

You wont ever get a chance to create any topic if you keep "spamming".

    Especially in "large purple writing."

You are begging for someone to stick a fork in you....
