Right on. There are few things I would say about this game.

Great matchup between TD and YM, they are great players and even better persons who I want to see in every game.

The difference in offence between YM on and off the ground is just huge. Scola and Wells need to be more consistant. Or play the hotter hands of Lantry, Brooks and James more, and even try Novak or Snyder if things are not smooth with the regulars.

T-mac will be back to top shape and help the team go further. I believe in him even I dislike the words out of his mouth.

No need to worry about Yao's confidence to shoot free throws at the end of the game. He might be kicking himself right now probably. I remember he said fatigue affect his shooting, and this game shows it is still a problem that he needs to solve. Worse, think of TD's feeling.

The rockets have to beat those 9 teams ahead of them to save their season. This is an high order. I don't know if the Rockets have enough to get it done.

Is it just me or did anyone else get scared by the wording of the ESPN link to the game recap: "Rockets ride Yao by Duncan, Spurs; McGrady back". I was like, oh no, what's wrong with McGrady's back this time! Maybe I've just been a Rockets fan too long.

Duncon: why are you dominating me on the defensive end?

    give me a break, man.

    Yao: no can do.

Duncon: do you want a block?

Yao: C'mon, I own you. Kiss my big *** A***

Great D played by Shane, extremely clutchy on those outward-tipping balls :)

Tmac also did some good thing in this game. If he wanna make change, Rox may have playoff and pass through the first round at least.

Stop the Yao bashing. If I will have a chance to choose anybody in the team to shoot free throws with the game on the line, it will be Yao for sure.

The game was very exciting in the fourth quarter.

Yao did play very well but didnt like the fact that we couldnt pass him a lot on the post. He did play a very good defense. 8.5/10

T-mac did play a very important role in the last 2 min. Next 2 games, hopely, he wont have to work very hard so that he could rest his knee a little bit. Want him 100% Vs team like portland, Utah and Golden States. 6.5/10

Alston was just okay. He didnt do much special. He did hit some very great 3s and also, did take some bad shot. Okay. 5.5/10

Hayes was horrible. Except some great defensive plays, he didnt do anything else. Miss some easy lay-ups. 1.5/10

Scola did play with heart and this is what he does the best. He did take some very good offensive rebounds. He could have done better offensively. He missed some wide open shots. 6/10

Brooks, I was disappointed with with him a little bit. He missed some good looking shot and he couldnt take care of the ball well. He got owned by Parker. 3/10

Landry was very good with his limited minutes. Did some great dunks. 7/10

Bonzi didnt play much and he was just okay. Did hit some mid range shots but he wasnt effective. 5/10

Head was also okay. Hit some 3s that helped us. he was good.
    5.5/10

Overall, as a team, on defense, we were 9/10 and 5/10 on offense. It was a great game and really enjoyed.

Though he indeed overreacted a little bit after rape TD, he choked enough to bring a HUGE win for our team.

So PLZ STOP REPEATing ur childish critism on his missing ball, this context is one part of the scenerio every team has to face. Just stop it, ok? Yao will take the blame from himself even more than comibation of what u guys is throwing at him

    I WAS AT THE GAME!
    -loud and crazy crowd
-the baseline bums.. are really bums. they sit, even after some great Spurs play
-Hakeem was there for the game!!!!
-Battier was really upset w/ refs (blind) and Bowen (dirty player)
    -refs blew some obvious calls/no-calls
-we need to work on those clutch free throws!!!
-ugly game, but great win for the Rox!!!
-and I LOVE OLAJUWON, TMAC, YAO, AND THE ROCKETS!!!!

I'm glad you already erased Game 5 of the Rockets/Mavs series in 2005 out of your memory. But overall, yes, he is clutch at the FT line. I remember the OT loss @ Denver.
To be honest, I think Dream could help Scola way more than Yao. I'm getting pretty irritated at all the traveling violations from Luis. Hakeem could really give Scola a few lessons on proper foot-work. Foot-work is Dream's mantra. He played soccer back in the day. Since Scola is from Argentina, I'm pretty sure he knows a lot about soccer as well.

Amazing for the shooting distribution, but it is really a wise idea to avoid Yao in unnecessary one-on-two or three offense, instead of sole solo, he can do much better damage to the opponent, e.g. pick--create more space for teamates and himself, O rebounding---second chance, at the same time saving his strength in Ds and more...

Best proof is his productivity did not drop tonight!

Great win~ Rox, even greater with T-mac blend in :)

That moving pick by duncan that leveled him late in the game got him REALLY pissed. Led to a manu wide open 3.

At the same time, Yao should make sure himself is PASSable, he needs to improve the catch of overhead throw, especially he is fronted repeatedly :(

    I don't agree,
Look at spurs, TD has how many TOs at clutch time? At last few mins, Force to pass to inside is high TOs, we need some plans to pass inside or drive in easyly.

Our O still sucks but our D win this game.

    great win. Happy

    go Rockets
