Yes, Scola should be starting but I am sure he will soon get his chance.

he got lucky that a foul was called. the rim blocked him first, he loss control of the ball, but a spur came over and fouled him anyway (but he did not have control of the ball when he was fouled). A "lucky" call for yao, since he does not get those calls.

I don't believe it's nervous. it;s because of over excited. If you play games, you can feel the passion is sometimes hurting your shooting.

My heart nearly stopped beating as YAO missed the last FT. was it the first time YAO's missed 3 FTs in a row since he joined the league? But one the bright side, everyone contributes big to tonight particularly at the crunch. GOOD WIN!

a win is a win, I'd rather have 100000000000 this kind of wins instead of 1 beautiful lose

man, yahoo sports almost gave me a heart attach:

during the game update the Rockets is on the right hand side on the overall score display, while the final score is the opposite. I was so nervous that I couldn't stay in front of the computer for the last few seconds. And when I glimpsed the score once it is finished, I thought spurs won. Then I went to this board prepared to see Yao bashing, then I saw that Rockets won! I was like WTF and went back to yahoo sports. Geee... It's not easy to be a Rockets fan.

I was kinda expecting him to miss the AND 1 after his dunk on Duncan. He was as pumped as I've seen him all year, and anyone who's played ball knows how hard it is to focus if your adrenaline is really pumping.

the miss after that, yeah that was not clutch. yao was probably thinking back to the one he missed previously. uncharacteristic, but it happens

but if you're worried about yao's FTs at the end of games, brother you're REALLY focusing on the wrong thing. rockets have about 10 things to fix ASAP, but yao's FTs are like last or 2nd to last on that list. that's basically the best thing about having yao on the court in the last minute versus any other big man

CHAMPIONSHIPS forget it!!! Rockets are a horrible team.
Blame a) Les and Morey for selecting Coach A and the Roster
    b) Coach A for his poor game plan and poor and slow substitution pattern, blame him for playing Yao Ming too many minutes.
    c) Blame Yao Ming for playing soft and never being the player he can be.
    d) Blame Rafer Alston who does not know how to play the point Guard Position, poor shooting, poor passing and poor defence.
    e) Blame the team, because most of them are selfish players and do not know how to play the team game.
    f) Lucky Win!! Go Rockets!
To make it even worst I had to listen to the Spurs commentators :p

Scola went 2 for 11. Yao missed 2 FT's in a row at the end of the game. Sometimes stuff happens.

Hmm. Well, chuck is usually more effective than 0 for 6. You wanted the +/-. I'm not necesarrily a Chuck apologist. When I saw him shooting and missing I was wishing for Landry, also. Obviously, you can't go by +/- because Landry's was lower than Hayes' and I'm sure you dont' want Landry to miss, do you?

The rockets can hold on the 4th quarter is because of Tmac.

How ironic. The reason why we won this game is the reason why we lost Game 7 vs the Jazz. Rebounding.

People were say we were "unclutch" because of the missed FTs, but the rebounds were totally clutch. Scola and Rafer got some huge boards at the end.

I'm going to do some lurking on the Spurs board tonight, and I have a feeling they'll say something about a no-call on the Bonner shot.

Hey, you must give the man credit for this game. He made several beautiful passes including the one to YAO ending up with a dunk. Don't forget he's not fully recovered yet.

what is up with all these people yelling about Yao's unclutch free throws. Do we have short term memories? As far as I can remember, Yao has been in plenty of last minute, game deciding FT situations and stepped up big time. This is one of those rare nights that he missed both. Which, has like, never happened since I could remember.
