Why do you care? WE can't even have all our own fans on the same page, now you are trying to convert fans from other team? You root for a team, or even you just root for a player, but you don't need to be so surprised that someone else doesn't see him as his favourite, you don't need to be defensive if someone else is not loving him unconditionaly, or even criticizing him. I see Yao as a young confident person, so he wouldn't mind criticism. Why would we mind?
ugh, I wish I had timed it better. The ripping actually started in another thread made before the game. I do like his intensity he's brought the past few games and he's definetely stepping up into the leadership role (which I felt was really the main thing holding the Rox back). Part of me really just resents him for being the reason Franchise is gone. There I said it. At least I'm honest.
don't be so aggressive coz I said Tmac is not good as shaq? I still say he is not, I am sorry, hehe. if you check my post early, I would understand my feeling to Yao " He will be the best center, and just give him time" Also, I really really hope Tmac be the best.
what is the web address of espn spurs site? I am tired of all the comments about yao and tmac. All the YOFs and Tmac only fans, STFU. Rockets cannot win missing one of them, so you guys just STFU.
I don't like to see this brought up. I was born in China too, and the same city as Yao. So there is a natural bond, and I root for him and want him to do better. But I don't need him to represent me or give me confidence and pride. I behave myself and work hard, and try to be a decent man. That is what I might be proud of. But relying on Yao? Man, that's too much pressure for him, and just making me look too inferior.
http://forums.espn.go.com/espn/forum?forumID=532&byThread=true Go there and regiser an account. You don't even need an email address. Rip them a new one!
hmm... interesting. I just checked Francis' box score today... 7-24... and on a team where Hill and Turkolou were shooting at a pretty high percentage. If he had shot less, they would have won by more than one point against one of the best teams in the east... start the complaining!
i can see how you put yourself in a no-win situation after you brought it up after this particular win Let's just leave it, and be happy with the win. Cheers.
bah, I'll wait til Franchsie has a good night and Mac has a bad one. I need to cersiouly work on my timing
Thank you for being honest. That's the reason your logic didn't make sense compared to what's actually happening on the court. TMac knows what it's like to be the best in his H.S. and the best on his Raptors team. He knows what's it's like to shoulder the load in Orlando when his side-kick (Grant Hill) is injured. He knows what it's like to score 32ppg a game for the season and win the scoring championships. He also knows what it's like to lose year after year and miss the play-offs; regardless of personal accolades. Those are things that has labeled Tmac as "Me-Mac." Well, guess what? Some players change. They learn. And some players figure out that no matter how good you are, you need your teammates around you to win a title. Tmac, knowing this, understands in his heart that he can't ISO his way to championship. But sometimes he needs to take over games when his team is struggling. That's what leaders do; knowing when, and when NOT to take over games. And that is what's important. Not the past.
Yeah... cause that would be unbiased. In my opinion, they both had good nights because their teams WON.
I agree. He definitely changed. After two years to scoring champ, he's serious about winning now. That's why he forced the trade, that's why he stayed low and tried to adjust in the beginning, that's also why he steps up when he's needed, but still plays pretty controlled game. You can't say all his decision making are correct, nobody is perfect, but he's a lot better than the guards we had before, and a lot better than his ownself before.
Hmm very good points. I also should add I got pretty annoyed when I read he admitted to slacking off in Orlando, that had a lot to do with my recent ripping on him. I just can't see Franchise ever not playing hard, he was and still is my favorite player cuz of that intensity. You're right though, people can change. I'll try to be more optimistic on him. All I wish is the Rox had a better roster so that I don't have to see anyone jacking up 25+ shots a night. perhaps if Yao stepped it up, but thats everyone's wish.
Oh cmon man, if we was all unbiased here, the BBS would so milqutoast. You'd have threads that have titles like "I think we could do better, but feel free to disagree because you're probably right"
I really wish the roskets have a defence power forward who can pull down 10+ rebs a game, just like motombo did tonight, then they could easily beat anybody in the league.
