I think Yao needs to be more vocal on the floor to the refs.

Point it out when the guy has 2 hands in his back.

I mean this in the nicest way:

Why don't you just shut up with the MeMac comment? Geez, is he not Jordanesque enough for you? You know, it's OK to be Mr. Happy when the Rockets win their 4th in a row. Here's a hug to you through the computer- don't worry, it's OK, we'll try to lose to the Grizzlies and make you happy.

Give me a break. Some people just can't stop b*tching about T-Mac. The guy averages about 5 assists per game for his career. And none of the Spurs showed up because the Rockets shut them down. T-Mac did exactly what he was supposed to do, hit big shots. And the ironic thing about people calling McGrady "MeMac" is that Sura and Barry were the ones hitting big shots down the stretch, and one of the clutch 3s that helped turn things in the Rockets favor in the 4th was off a steal and a pass from T-Mac to Barry for 3.

Who else has the capability to get off that many QUALITY shots? If others attempted that many shots, there'd be too many ugly shots.......or else they aren't being guarded at all.

Yea I guess going 15-6 since T-mac starting taking "too many shots" is bad news for the Rockets

Thats a pretty silly statement. How am I hoping for the Rox to lose? I am just pointing out something that is not healthy to the team long term. You let a guy keep shooting like that, and he'll never change his ways.

In 3 minutes, someone who didn't watch the game will see the box score with Yao's 13/8 and post another "Trade Yao" thread....despite the fact that he didn't have a bad game.

I was thinking along the same lines when that happened. That'll teach him to run into Yao, intentionally, over and over again, expecting a foul.

What are you pointing out? That the Rockets shut down the team with the second best record in the NBA and found a way to score against the best defense in the NBA? The fact that you just called McGrady selfish even though he had 4 assists in the game and hit 28 big points? Or saying that the Rockets would have lost if other Spurs hadn't got involved not taking into account that the Rockets might have actually shut them down? Just give the Rockets credit.

Like I said, Orlando's record last year when he took all those shots per game wasn't that great.

Could we stop arguing for a moment after a great win against Spurs? Both Yao and T-MAC are great as well as other Rockets.

    Case closed.

Its like you are talking about a dog or something, "you let that dog chew on the couch too many times, he wont ever stop" Tmac is NOT a dog! He is intelligent enough when to be the playmaker and when to take over. Today, our offense was terrible and Tmac decided to take over. We won because of it.

Newsflash, this isn't Orlando and that was the only time Orlando had a losing season while McGrady was there.

Just drop it hotballa... if you watched this game, there's no way you could come away with the feeling that "T-Mac shot too much."

It sounds like you're watching it on a game-tracker, or just looking at the box score.

And if you did actually watch the game... tell me which shots (in particular) that you had a problem with, and where he was on the floor when he shot them.

shrug, you have your rose colored glasses after the big win. That's cool, I see problematic things, you feel wins gloss over any mistakes. two fans who view it differently, we just leave it at that

EDIT: In the interest of not messing up the nice feeling. I will direct this post at all who have a problem with my recent posts. We'll save the argument for another day, perhaps in between games :D

Actually, I found it very entertaining. I am surprised myself, but I saw some excellent team defense being played. It was really amazing.

I agree that it is impressive when you out-Mav the Mavs and out-Spur the Spurs. The Rockets beat both Texas rivals at their own game. The Rockets could be a load by playoff time.

When you watch Ming and Mutombo play can you tell which one is the All Star and which one is the bench player? Me neither.
