Hi, I'm new to posting to this site eventhough I log on daily for the last year to read the threads and topics you all discuss. Finally, I can post too. First of all I have been a rockets season ticket holder for 13 years so this has been a painful year to watch.

However...........I'm one of those fans who may just be stupid or just refuse to give up. I still think the Rockets (if we can get some wins) can make the playoffs. The Kings lost again last night leaving the rockets only 4 losses behind the kings. The kings play their next 5 out of 6 games on the road with games against Dallas, SA, and the clippers. We still have a game against the kings too. We also have an important game against Utah in a few weeks. I guess I just refuse to give up.
I don't understand everybody wanting us to lose. If we finish 6 or 10th in the lottey race, it doesn't guarantee a high pick. We could have the the worst record and still not get a top pick. I think we should win at all costs and not give up on the playoffs. We still believe (or at least I still do). If you look at the Kings/Jazz/Hornets schedule you can see we have a shot if we can just get some wins. And you never know, Tracy might make it back to give us that push. All I'm saying is that Don't GIVE UP Just Yet. It starts with the seattle game tonight. If we win tonight and Friday against Washington, we should really start to look at the playoff picture post a new forum topic to discuss our playoff chances. I know 90% of you thikn I'm crazy, but there has to be a few of you that agree with me and won't give up. I'll be at the game tonight to hope for a turnaround.
Rockets 96 Sonics 84.........Thanks again for letting me on your site. ;)

I have a preposterous theory about that. :D If you plan to hire a GM who has radical statistical analysis that correlates fan interest with basketball efficiency :p why wouldn't you have your entire marketing department here trying to discern why the hell we're all still interested?

Speaking for myself, I just want to see Yao do something non-dangerously whacky.

As a rookie, I think I'm obliged to say something here.

Rockets loses, but Yao has a monster game.

    Yeah, yeah, I'm a YOF.
