Great support for your team.

The Rockets are real losers by winning this game. Like someone said in the chat, you play to win.

    Post-game quote from Van Gundy:
    What's he talking about?

But it's probably in the team's best long term interests to get the highest draft pick possible.

Good win, but its more like a we better have won this game. rashard didn't play and Ray Allen went 1/11 or 12 or 13 or something like that. there's no excuse to lose to the sonics especially since they play horrible D.

we can prob get a decent pickup in the draft. what i REALLY would like to do is pull in some trades for whomever picks up Reddick. could you imagine? all the questions in tryin to find a suitable person to hit those treys would be over. t-mac and yao getting doubled??? houston will no longer have a prob with reddick hittin trey after trey..yay

but the chances of that happening is more possible for francis and starbury to bring the knicks into the playoffs next season.

Hard to tell (the quote appears incomplete), but that seems to be an indirect rip on Lampe for the stupidity he displayed the other night shooting around while Rockets legends were on the floor giving speeches.

I said 'hello' to Gene Peterson at the game....

my God.. I didn't realize how much he's aged! Time has really caught up with him. I hardly recognized him.

I said, "Gene! You're not really gonna retire, are you?"

he looked at me and said, "One more year."

    I said, "Two more years!?"

    He smiled and turned around.

It won't be the same without him.

17/4 in one quarter. That's crazy. Did they guard him with Ray Allen? :p

like the suns fans wont do the same if it was reversed. i could also say amare's stats are largely due in part to steve nash making him look good. while Yao has to play without t-mac, and along side a bunch of scrubs.

Actually they even doubled him on a variety of occasions (see the pass to Howard for 2). It's just one of those days that the Rockets role players are knocking down all kinds of shots and you know no one can really beat us on this day even without Mac on the lineup.

Did you get the impression that the Sonics are seriously "tanking?"

Does anybody think that Yao will ever stop doing his bitter beer face?

According to Sina, Yao did not always have that bitter beer face, he used to stick out his tongue like Michael Jordan but he stopped do that after several hard fouls.

Yao is now playing with knee injury. Maybe Rockets should rest Yao till his knee recovered. No point taking a risk on your star player now.
