When we play run and gun teams, it just awakens the idiocy/competitiveness out of Francis, and he goes shooting 4-18 while the one big gaping hole in the Sonics repertoire, CENTER, isn't addressed with Yao Ming shooting 9 shots. Francis oh Francis, how eager are you to prove you're out of a shooting slump? Can you actually hang with Rashard or even more so, Ray Allen? Give me a break. I almost regretted Francis having a good game against Portland because I knew he was going to pull this sh*t against the Sonics.
I want Kirk Hinrich + Tyson Chandler for Francis the day after we get swept by San Antonio in the first round.

After this game, I just don't care anymore, I'm not even gonna tell steve to kiss our ass, or to get a brain transplant, or say that he is the stupidest person I've ever seen play the point guard position...I'm not gonna say that taylor and mobley are no better, I'm not even gonna say we have the most ball hogs on any one team in the free world, no make that the whole world.......I'm not gonna complain about stupid #$# guards not getting the ball to the open man...I'm not gonna give francis's shooting stats.....4-18,
cause I just don't care anymore I hope the toyota dealership they call a basketball arena is 1/s empty the rest of the year and next year till owner sees the sorry team he has and makes changes...

don't call them the queens, they are actually a good team and a really fun team to watch...i would trade everyone one but yao for any of the players they have...they had major injuries in the two wins the rockets had against them

I guess Yao getting 2 rebounds has nothing to do with it. Seattle outplayed us in every position, not just the PG or SG or whatever, every single player for Seattle out-hustled, out-played us, period.

I watched the game on NBA TV and thought they were major homers. Not that I blame them but I hated it.

"Great Gooogly Moooogly", as was quoted from one of there announcers after a VRad 3 pointer close to the end of the game. I almost got sick.

And that's right, I said it: I regret it when Francis has good games.

yes, clearly if the ball went through the 2 for 9 big man, all would have been saved. in about a two minute stretch in the 4th yao missed a baseline jumper, a layup, and then a turnaround from about 6 feet. not that anyone was shooting well but acting like ming would've saved us in this game isn't looking at what actually happened out there (unless the refs were just gonna put him on the line every single time so as to avoid actually shooting).

Question here. The inability of rockets match up against Dallas, Seattle, and the queens, Is it because of the guards, or Yao Ming or a combination of both. We are 0 and 7 agianst these quick gun teams

it's because we aren't good at perimeter pick and roll defense b/c our frontcourt is too slow to play the large amount of pick and rolls teams like this throw at us. we either have to switch and leave our slow pf's on a guard or just trap and let the pf who can shoot get a wide open shot. and guys like mo and cato can be beat on the outside by pf's with speed. and if steve is getting beat off the dribble there is no room for error on double teams b/c everyone can hit a shot when help comes over. and jvg likes to collapse on the middle and on penetrators and leave the perimeter open a lot, which lets teams like this kill us. it's a pretty good team effort.

DD. when did daniels or ridnaur push pace and hurt us? daniels was doing everything in the halfcourt and ridnaur rarely if ever pushed. we were getting killed by the likes of allen/lewis/radmanovic/potapenko, guys who could either take our backcourt off the dribble and had the size to shoot over them or guys who could go out on the perimeter away from our frontcourt and drain shots. and san antonio pushing pace? please. they beat us b/c they suffocate our offense.

couldn't agree more...it's almost to the point where it might be worth it to have another disappointing season and either not make the playoffs or get swept so they finally get rid of his sorry ass...watch the rockets end up playing the lakers and either beating them or forcing a game 7...everyone will think the rockets are great and we will have the same old crap again next year...

Just be fair here. I thought the bashing shouldnt be SF only tonight. Yao was 2 for 9, Cat and JJ kept jacking up 3's. Of course SF is our Max player, he should've done more becuase he gets paid a **** load more than other guys. :D :D

What do you expect? Yao is God to them.

Anyway, how about Kelvin Cato in the first half, huh?
