Because the whole stupid team ignored him on 5 previous possesions and let Sonics on 9-0 run, then they had to rely on 3-pointers. Of course, the defense collapsed after Yao sat down and 3-pointers didn't fall as expected. Rox did everything to earn a loss.

 

This team is mediocre at best and that's a fact. This team does not have enough good smart players. Their assist is always the lowest in the NBA. This tell you that there is just TOO MANY selfish players on this team, either that or they simply don't know how to pass the damm ball. I think next year, they should trade for someone that can pass the ball and shoot with consistency.

Francis should be traded because for one, he just does not fit into the system. He doesn't play up to his potential, in fact he's hurting the team more than he is helping them. Why? Because that guy keep turning over the ball more than any player on the team per game. Also he ain't a good passer and so he's not helping the team in anyway and he rely on his jump shot too much instead of penetrating and attacking the basket. He's been shooting horribly through out this season. Also he ain't got the IQ to play smart ball. All he got is athleticism and occasional shooting burst because he's been inconsistent. I really think this team need to shake it up and do something about their roster because from what i seen, they're just going to be a mediocre team with this rosters. If this team want to take it to another level, they need to get another superstar that not only play smart but can pass and shoot with consistency, Francis ain't going to be that man cuz he's proving it this season.

 

you are right....there is a very good chance they will fade out of the playoffs once again...they have a lot of games against western conference teams and a lot of them on the road down towards the end of the season...one thing no one has talked about all year is the fact that the rockets have had 0 significant injuries all year which is not the case for any of the 28 other teams in the nba....if this is the best the rockets can do then i am sorry this team is really disappoting....i think it will take not making the playoffs again for them to finally get rid of francis once end for all....

 

Pansy refs, damn McMillen jumped up, they gave a flagrant, WTF. That call killed our Momentum. Gave Seattle back confidence. Turning point.

In spite of the consistently horrible guard play all year for the Rox, I will still be a believer. But, it is concerning that a stat as glaring as 7 of 29 FGs between Mobes and Francis is about par for the season.

 

One game? This team has no displine, starting from SF.

 

Dont label anybody. There is no contest for a true fan.

 

Just a stupid team. Everyone wants to be a shooter who can not make it consistently. Look at JJ, everytime he has the ball, he will not pass it. The ball needs to be go through the big man to win the game, but they do not do it much, and they miss the shot after the shot. Just a ugly game.

 

But it is in Toyota center. Where were the fans? So pathetic! Make an example from one of these bastards, I bet no one will ever dare to mistreat us so blatantly.

 

The Rockets can't beat San Antonio, Dallas, Minnesota, and Seattle. Seattle has beat us all 3 times we've played them this season. We also lost two in pre-season to them. Too bad we have the Lakers, Minnesota, and Dallas coming up. One could easily pencil these in as losses. The Lakers owe us one. We are highly doubtful to win the @Minnesota and Dallas game. So, look out 6, and possibly, five games over of .500! Here we come!

Seriously, though, we can't even beat 26-32 Seattle. What kind of sick joke is that? Just when you think we've turned a corner...we get the reality check. Check that!

This team is horrible against Western teams...just look at their Western Conference record. IT's horrible!! Especially the division record.

 

they are the dumbest team in the nba, they always play to the advantage of the other team. that's why they can never beat dallas, sa, seattle etc...they never ever learn...it's like they have gold fish memory(10 sec's and then forget)

 

Question here. The inability of rockets match up against Dallas, Seattle, and the queens, Is it because of the guards, or Yao Ming or a combination of both. We are 0 and 7 agianst these quick gun teams.
Or was it JVG's inability? We did well last year against them.

what game were you listening to? they were quite balanced. you obviously have very little experience listening to other announcers if you're gonna make that comment.


2. aggierocketfan96 seems to have about the intelligence you would expect from a moniker like that. our guards are holding our forwards back apparently. one of the top 5 backcourts is holding back one of the lower 5 forward rotations, brilliant. it's amazing to watch our guards suck as maurice taylor dominates power forward after power forward and jim jackson and piatkowski tear western conference SF's a new one each night.

and yes, 7 for 29 is exactly par for the course for francis and mobley. that's why mobley was in the 3 pt shooting contest, b/c he always shoots 3 for 11. is this the first game you've watched this year or something?

yes, our consistently terrible guard play is what's holding us back.
