    Sort of off the topic -- I was at the Sonics message board -- just lurking. Anyway, I came across this quick little review of clutchfans -- they were providing links to "enemy" sites.

    It said this about clutchfans:

    The Holy Grail of fan websites; featured on a number of occasions in Sports Illustrated and spearheaded an effort to get the Rockets a new arena. Extremely active message board, though it has the reputation of being . . . unaccepting . . . of new members. I've been treated well in posting there, however. A wealth of information throughout the site; I could waste hours there and I don't even like the Rockets!


    Oh yeah, my prediction: Rox 98 Sonics 92

    yeah, this site is great, the sonics meassage board "game thread" had 2, that's right -- 2 responses. NOt to bash it or anything, but we got a good thing. I may need to contribute again, once payday comes around.

    I've always been curious though, since I become a member here quite a while after the new arena was built.... but...

    how exactly did clutchfans help "spearhead" the efforts for a new arena?

    always wanted to ask this but never got around to it.

    Sura is out? damn. but..... how about me? if JVG can figure out a way to let me wide open for about 10 secs. I can should 3s at >80%. I always wonder why I am not a BBall star.

    Van Chancellor mentioned that Bill Worrell is the main link between Calvin Murphy (Hall of Famer) & himself (on the Hall of Fame candidate list as we speak).

    It was just a chance for Van to respond with some good humor to the Hall of Fame candidacy congratulations (announcement made this past weekend) & to throw Bill Worrell into the mix and give him some props as well.

    when is david wesley's picture going to have the rocket colors in the background?


    every time i see the starting lineup announced everyone has red and white. wesley has light blue and white lol.
