Just wait until the 13th game of next year's regular season. Think about it.

Penetration will be the key to this game. If Sura and Tmac can attack the hoop and get Fortson and Evans in quick foul trouble, then we will be in good shape. They have very little postup game (expect Lewis to try to post up Tmac), and if we can play solid perimeter D, we will win.

Matchups and Keys to the Game:

    Lineups:

    Seattle Rocks Edge:
    C J. James Yao Rockets

PF J. Howard R. Evans Rockets

    SF R. Lewis T-Mac Rockets

SG R Allen D. Wesley Supersonics

PG L Ridnaur B. Sura Toss Up

    Bench: Fortson/Murray : Barry/Mutombo Toss Up

    Keys To the Game:

I think the real keys will be not letting us get killed in a 3 pt Barrage and help defense.

T-Mac/Wesley will have to be like glue on Lewis and Allen so Howard and Yao will have to help defense on the penetration. The team also needs to get back in transition to not allow easy fast break buckets.

This is the kind of team that bothers Yao, with their pesky guards, fast pace and coach (McMillan) that knows how to bother big men. Yao/Howard should get the ball inside early to force Lewis and Allen to come down to help to free up our outside guys.

Sura's going to have to help Wesley on Allen as well. Wesley is good at defending guards on the block and great at limiting penetration, but a quick tall shooter may give him trouble with his limited height and leaping abilility. Ray only needs a second to get a shot off so we have to play those screens well and on the pick and pop's Yao/Howard have to come out.

Guys like Fortson have caused problems for Yao w/ their strength and willingness to throw elbows (Najera/Brian Grant) and low center of gravity. It'll be important for Yao to come across the lane and get the ball during movement and not tire himself out pushing and pulling James/Fortson.

T-Mac's shot has been off lately (except for the Washington game) but with Seattle's weak interior defense, Allen and Lewis will try to help more so guys like T-Mac/Barry/Padgett's shots must fall. T-Mac is quicker than Lewis who's footspeed is overrated and should be able to get by him past their weak interior.

The main thing we need is to limit their 3-pts with honest outside defense and help interior defense!

    NINE Baby!
