How bad were the refs tonight??

Patrick Ewing got up from his perch to yell at them... that's how bad.

But, no excuses... this wouldn't have been a close game had we been able to rebound better... plain and simple.

Sura is a beast for this team... he makes everything click... I just pray that there's a miracle cure for his back, because without any PG additions, there's no way that T-mac and Yao can handle all the pressure they'll be seeing on the offensive end.

The Wesley loose ball foul was at least somewhat legit. He did bump Ray Allen out of bounds. But not giving Yao a 3-point play on that dunk and calling him for an offensive foul was a disgrace. Never mind that horrible foul called on Deke when he had all ball.

The Rockets shot themselves in the foot by giving up all those offensive rebounds, but can you blame them when they're playing 8 on 5 out there all night?

And please Van Gundy, cut Strickland ASAP!!! He grinds our offense to a halt, he can't make a shot if his life depended on it, and he turns the ball over. I hope to God he isn't actually planning on starting him tomorrow night against Tony Parker.

They didn't just decide to show us mercy and shoot poorly. There is reason for that. Even heard of a word "defense"? Even heard of that is the reason jump shooting teams can't survive in playoffs? You can shoot a better percentage at your back yard, but facing Rockets, the Sonic just can NOT shoot as good as they did against some other teams. Mark my words, check in next time they play against Rockets, let us know whether they can blow Rockets out of the building. You can be happy about the calls you are getting, just don't pretend to be "we". There is no "we" here.

what a sad lost. Seattle shoot 36.5% from field, shoot 16% after arc. They still got a win.

How about the foul called on that clean block Mutumbo had on Radmanovich? That was the game right there.

That's pretty one-sided...Sonics may have shot poorly from behind the arc...but we were w/o Sura and T-Mac had a definite off-night.... we won that game....the refs lost it for us....and know something else...the Sonics really don't scare me at all...yeah they are a good offensive team...but they're a bunch of creampuffs that'll get served come playoff time.

Just when I thought I was mad at the refs... you came along with comments like that (pretending to be a rocket fan).

Goodbye troll... you would be the first I'd put on the "ignore" list, but you won't be posting here again till the next Sonics game, so its not worth it (esp. since we can call you out again then).

I am so ******* pissed right now. a geniune loss, I can accept.
a loss due to the most atrocious and bias officiating I've ever seen, is a bit harder to swallow.

I saw that loss coming half way into the third with the way the refs called that game...ridiculous.

I hope the refs don't rip any more wins from us this year. That was pitiful.

This was actually a pretty bad game by the rockets. They had terrible defense and let a team with a way off night beat them at the end. They gave up a ton of offensive rebounds. AND they couldn't hit the FT. This is a clear sign of the NEED for B Sura. A PG, any real PG, would take this team all the way. That 80 year old elder man pretending to be PG. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! The Rockets are DONE if Bobby is DONE for the season.

No disrespect to Yao and TMac. But they cannot carry the team without a good PG. Where would the Suns be without Nash? Oh wait, he was out for a while and they lost 4 in a roll or something.

Ming was ON Fire tonight and he still doesn't get over 20 shots. That is what's wrong with the Rockets.

And what was those shot attempts by TMac at the end. Both bad misses. Allen on the other end had 12 points.

Go To guys make the shots at the end.

    I hate those NBA refs.
they are gonna get cursed especially MR. CRAWFORD tonight !!!
I cannot bear this. This lost gets me recall they stole KING's championship on 2002. FXXX THE refs!!!
I don't mind a regular season's lost. But obviously we'll be treated the same way in playoff !!!
