While we are at it..Where are all of the people who were telling us To TANK GAMES after YAO went out because we had no shot at the playoffs and now we are in contention for home cour advantage. I see those same posters jumping on the bandwagon now. I always thought we would be fine and could make the playoffs eventhough I didnt expect the rockets to be makign such a great run....i did think we would still get into the playoffs...However, some of you said WE WERE DONE and join in the Durant sweepstakes.....

One thing I have been extremely impressed with since Yao went down is the low turnovers...how many games have we had our turnovers in single-digits?

We're doing a GREAT job taking care of the ball...makes you wonder if it's the new ball or just having to slow the game down and pound the ball into Yao that has led to some high turnover games earlier in the season.

    Could be both...

combination of the two I think. Yao as great as he is does turn the ball over quite a bit, many times when the double/triple team man comes from the blind side and strips the ball. also i think times when passes to him if too low and he has a hard time getting the ball are credited to him as TOs.

the pound it into yao does create more turnovers at time i remember phil jackson during the finals against detriot said that during the stretch when the pistons made their run in one of the games was due to consistent turnovers from the lakers trying to force feed shaq. unfortunately due to the new zone rules its much easier to defend the post and cause post-offense turnovers.

expect turnovers to go up slightly when yao gets back but i think the team will adjust and still play at a very high rate with yao in there. i think as a whole with tmac playing as he is the confidence of the entire team has shot up and its just not "lets drop it to yao and stand around"

the one thing i am really really excited to see is the pick and roll with yao and tmac now. it hasnt been utlized to much this season and i hold mcgrady to be one of the best pick and roll guys in the league. he tries with deke, but deke has hands of stone, hayes' hands are a bit better but he isnt very good at finishing and catching...juwan is a pick and pop guy that works well.

but it'll be dallas all over again with yao and mac pick and rolling which is probably the hardest play to defend in the league with those two guys and mac has such great vision and awareness that he will find the open man coming off the pick whether its yao or a spot up shooter.

I don't agree with EDC......and don't HATE JVG....I question some of his moves, but he is clearly a good coach.

And, the only reason I am saying CD and Morey should be congratulated is because JVG consistently says he has nothing to do with roster decisions that CD and Morey do.

Please don't read anything more into my posts.

    Woah there pal !

I have given loads of credit to J-Ho....he has certainly proven me wrong this year.

I would like to see him play this way when Yao gets back too.....

I am not reading any more into your posts...

It just seems like you have a weeeeee bit of John Kerry in you.

And if you question some of the moves in game, write CD and Morey so that they can get better players for him so that he can run the plays and play the players you might be questioning.

Just seems to me that you are on the one hand patting the Coach on the back and with the other hand driving the knife into his back.

Did you vote against the Coach before voting for him?
