Thank you for reminding us of that. Yes it was ridiculous! When T-Mac is on, not even Koby can compete with him with his complete repetoire. Dirk? LOL!
KG would've potentially bogged the paint when Yao came back later this month. Yes, KG does pretty well from the perimeter outside but his 'bread and butter' game is 8 to 10 ft on in. So people mentioning trades of T-Mac to anywhere ville was extremely premature and very shallow.

Yes, all you morons need to apologize and man up that you were idiots and have no loyalty that's if y'all have any BALLS!

Humer: "Hi, my name is Rob."

    Crowd: "Hi Rob."

Humer: "Hi everybody. I'd just like to say that...well...I'm one of the ones that thought that T-Mac was...well, that he was done."

Crowd: "We're here for you Rob. Go on."

Humer: "And, and... and I was wrong. And I'm so glad I was wrong. God, this feels so good to say outloud!"

    Crowd: clapping

Last nights win gives us the longest active winning streak in the NBA right now, go Rockets.

    LOL!

Man, Dakota, you are funny at times.

But that quote up there totally contradicts your fearless leader of the Hate Squad (EDC) who claims that the roster was picked by Mr. Van Gundy.

No matter what happens, I start today accepting that Gundy can do no right and can do all wrong.

    Unbelievable.

Hmm...if I didn't know any better, this is actually a positive post by ROckets03?

I have more confidence in this team than I've had in years.

I sat there last night KNOWING they were gonna win. How long has it been since I've felt that way?

This team flat out takes care of business.

5:1 Assist-to-turnover ratio as a team against a transition team... that is amazing!!

I know how you feel. Last night, when we were up by only a few in the 4th, I wasn't worried at all. I knew we would get it done.

Good lord, for the last few years, even when we have a 15 point lead on teams, I'm nervous.

    Go Rox!

    to be honest

When their first half defensive intensity was so low and Seattle was seeming o score at will, I was concerned.
As good as they have been about taking care of business, there is that occasional game where they come out flat and don't compete like they can.

And we normally lose when that happens.

When they came out in the third and started picking it up, I knew then we would be ok .

I always have faith, especially so as I see this team gel together and show how determined they are to keep the ship floating till Yao can get back.

I haven't felt as optimistic about a Rockets team since 95

Give some credit to the Sonics for not mailing in the final score. It's been a tough season for Seattle with not much to play for (at 17-28, Greg Oden / Kevin Durant sweepstakes, I guess). 2nd game of a back-to-back roadtrip (in Dallas the previous night) against a rested Rockets squad, and without key player Rashard Lewis and expected starting center Robert Swift.

I'm sure Seattle fans aren't too happy with the 32-8 disparity in free throw attempts, but if the Sonics continue to play like they did against Houston (and Dallas), they'll win a few more games.

Floating? They've manned the entire deck and raised all the sails. (sorry my navy jargon is bad)

the team has done a lot better than I thought they would have during the stretch without Yao. granted that they have played lesser competition and a good portion at home, but there have been some great wins mixed in there as well. whats refreshing to see is that they are competitive every night giving themselves a shot to win despite missing their best player.

that is a credit to jvg and his coaching staff and the professionalism of our players

POOF! They are gone! Just like the guys who badmouthed the Battier trade, and JHo (yeah that would be you DD and Zboy). Amazingly, there are still JVG haters found. I had a guy tell me, "I don't even care if Van Gundy wins Coach of the Year, it's not going to change my opinion that he is a horrible coach." Gee, sure nice when you can look at things objectively and an open mind. I never really have understood why some people are so unable to say, "I was wrong."

I noticed JVG played Head at the end of the 4th. Head missed 4 consecutive shots but made 2 3s when T-mac came in. This really shows how great Tmac is. I appreciate JVG giving Head the opportunity to play PG at the clutch, however, Alston is the better choice for PG when T-mac is not in. Head should play SG in the Clutch.

    Quote of the Month

Courtesy of Damien Wilkins of the Seattle Supersonics

(on Tracy McGrady and trying to defend him) "He's unstoppable. He gets in that zone where his confidence gets so high more than anybody else in the league. When he gets it going he doesn't miss many shots. You try to get a hand in his face but there is not much you can do."

Anyone that entertains the notion that PJ is an asset needs to watch the 4th quarter of last night's Clips/Bulls game.

One of the items I particularly liked happened towared the end of the game. We were up by around 8 or so and there was around 4 - 5 mins left. In the past (even earlier in the season) we would have milked the clock and then chunked up a bad shot - what I call basketball prevent defense. But last night we kept on attacking. It didn't matter were we in the shot clock, our guys took the best shot that was available. That's good basketball!
