Defense was atrocious until a stretch in the 4th quarter when we shut them down hard. It was not a good game for us but the Sonics are such a soft team it didn't matter.

I agree. I used to think Yao was better with his dominant start and T-Mac was passive when the season started, but now T-Mac is playing like his old self and even better at times b/c of his maturity.

I'm not worrying about T-Mac when Yao comes back, but I am worry about Yao himself. I just hope he doesn't think he sux now that T-Mac is playing like an MVP and the need to take a back seat like T-Mac did earlier in the season. If both player play at the top of their game together, not even Phoenix can stop us.

This tracy> yao. this tracy>01-02 or 04-05 tracy. HE SEEMS TO BE A WAY BETTER AND MUCH MORE MATURE PLAYER NOW. he sees the floor without the tunnel vision he had earlier in he's career. he trusts he's teammates alot more now. he's defense seems to be better to.

    Can u believe it?
Nearly 6 people got double digit score,
among them is Deke...5/5 10pts and 8 boards.

    Fantastic.

He was posting up huge numbers. but tracy is more " valueable". we win more with tracy as the number 1 option.

No sane team would take that deal. To give up Durant or Oden on a rookie contract for Pau and his big contract plus "whatever" would be complete insanity. I think the league has figured out Pau is a very good player but not a superstar franchise player. Cal me crazy, but if I were the Bulls, I wouldn't trade Ben Gordon for Pau, straight up.

Anyway, Yao could have a good rest for the playoff run, like Shaq.

I still think if both of them go for the same draft (as of both players current performance), a lot of team will probably draft Yao than Tmac, simply because excellent big men are so rare. I know Yao needs somebody else to pass the ball, but with a good (above average) PG, champs are achievable. And good PGs are available every year. A simple example is, as good as KB is, he can't win a single trophy by himself; Shaq however, prove he can find partners (first Kobe, then Wade) and get job done.

Reminds me of what happened with Hakeem in 1995. Can lightening strike twice?!

Some of you sound like old women with this bickering:

    Yao is better
    Tmac is better
Yao will be jealous of Tmac
Tmac will suck once Yao comes back

    Who cares. We have both!

I disagree. Sonics have just as much or better talent. The reason the Rockets are a better team:

1)JVG factor. JVG runs a tight ship and he has his team play defense.

2)Tmac factor. Tracy makes his team mates much better. Tmac is a much better ballhandler and he can get anywhere on the court and he can pass the ball off the dribble.

Ray Allen was hot tonight, but on games he is not shooting it well (there are not many of them), his impact on the game is negligible. He doesn't play defense and he doesn't do much of anything else.

Tracy managed to get a victory in Denver even though he didn't shoot it well.

I AGREE that gasol is not a franchise player. there is a few franchise players probaly not more then 8 nowdays and were lucky we got 2 of them are on our team. we dont understand how lucky we are to have yao and tracy on the same team. :)
