is it just me or is Alston becoming the next Jason Williams?

    J. Williams 28 4-14 1-8 4-4 0 1 5 1 0 0 0 13

    R. Alston 36 6-16 1-4 0-0 2 2 3 2 1 0 3 13

Shooting problems, not much assists, yet Williams was with Wade and Shaq during their Finals run, and the only stat that is significantly down for Williams is points.

    quote from mario elie

Elie: “It did turn out brilliantly. Also, you had Chucky Brown playing some 4 for us. We felt that Hakeem was so dominant in the middle that whoever you put beside him really didn’t matter. He and Clyde played together (in college) and you just saw that Hakeem felt like a kid again when they brought in Clyde. Both of them were so happy to be reunited. You saw the chemistry between those two. I remember a game against Utah when each of them had 40 points. That was an amazing feat to see, these two Top 50 players who I got the chance to play with performing at that level. It was great to see that.”

quote from shane battier five years from now

Battier: “It did turn out brilliantly. Also, you had Chuck Hayes playing some 4 for us. We felt that Yao was so dominant in the middle that whoever you put beside him really didn’t matter. He and McGrady never played together before but when T-Mac was brought in, you just saw the chemistry between those two. I remember a game against the Spurs when each of them had 40 points. That was an amazing feat to see, these two Top 50 players who I got the chance to play with performing at that level. It was great to see that.”

    I can dream, can't I? :D

Fat chance. By that time Shane won't be doing FSN interviews, he'll be running for Senate. :)

A great game, only hope is that Aston plays less and Lucas plays more. Just do not understand the Aston guy, every time he takes a shot, it looks a ugly, you know it is a miss, and results in two points in another end. The guy must have something that JVG loves very much for playing so much time.

It is easier said than done.
When his shots are not falling, the defense back off from him, it is much more difficult to drive. They also don't colapse to stop his penetration either so drive and dish is not available too often.

Rafer still needs to take the open shots but he needs to cut down the quick, 1st shot down the court, especially those beyond 15 ft. I can understand a dead eye shooter to take those but for Rafer, they are available all the time, why rush to take them, he should look for better options first.

What about taking Rafer out of the game when he bricks those wide open jump shots the defense makes him take?
