Jalen brilliantly made himself forgotten, stole the ball, and launched the victory attack… Jabari didn't miss the first free throw and sent the second one to a perfect spot… Adams, using his height, drew the Sixers’ bigs to his side, making things easier for Şengün… And Şengün perfectly executed the one thing he must do at that moment.

Incredible team play. No doubt, these young guys are now ready for the intensity and mentality of the playoffs.

Morey has acquired past-peak Howard, Harden, George, Paul, Russ, Carmelo - he needs a Durant, LeBron & Curry to complete his "Team of the 2010's" collectors album.

Another angle of "the tip". Jabari was hyped.

Anybody who thinks Bari doesn't try hard or doesn't want to win isn't watching the same guy I am

Dude has had his ups and downs, jury's still out on how good he'll be, but he obviously cares a lot about winning.

At this point I don't know how one says Green has "shoddy" handles.

People see someone get stripped once in a game...

I'm pretty sure Fred has been stripped more often since he returned than Green.

“Come and get me” type of game. Imagine his scoring next to Jalen’s attacking the basket? Ned would never.

    Jalen-Q-Brooks-Jabari-Alpi
    Reed-Amen-Tari-Tate-Suns pick (Maluach?)
Vets and 2 ways 3rd string

I am banging on the drum that Morey is one of the most overrated figures in NBA front office history.

I disagree. He built a team capable of beating one of the greatest teams of all time, and if not for injuries, we would have another banner hanging in Toyota Center.

FVV has three turnovers since he's been back (edit: it was 4, including his being back for 1 game). Last night, FVV's turnovers were an offensive foul and a bad pass.

Last night in the 4th Quarter
Green lost a ball last night with minimum pressure just after he crossed halfcourt with the ball going out of bounds.
Green was casually dribbling the ball last night at the top of the key when a 76ers just tapped the ball away. The 76er came away with the ball as both him and Green dove for it.

Unless FVV is getting stripped somehow without the other team getting the ball, FVV has not been stripped more than Green (assuming stripped is all-inclusive of turnovers caused by bad handling as I'm nit sure if the defender actually touched the ball at halfcourt.).

    Pointless since these are subjective.

I don't think he has bad ballhandling but I don't think it's really elite either. I'd say he's a tick above the average for an NBA shooting guard. You don't see him dribbling through a bunch of traffic and making it out alive, he has to pick up his dribble and get the shot up quickly when gets into the paint, and he has a little bit in his "bag" and is not especially loose with it, but he's not knocking guys out of their shoes with deception and fancy dribbling either. It's a pretty simple, reasonably effective handle, nothing special but enough that he can do some shot creation for himself given his athletic gifts.

Ya hard disagree. He dribbles through traffic plenty especially given the on ball gravity numbers and his dribbles per touch. Even data wise it doesn't match your claim.

Dude does some of the fanciest splitting of double teams I've seen in the league. He also is amazing at getting into tight spaces with a live handle. Jalen also has the footwork of a great ball handler. Someone who control short choppy steps in traffic. Like someone sho skips rope a lot and specifically trains for quick coordinates footwork off the balls of their feet. That honestly is the most important part of maintaining a handle. Quick coordinated feet which he is by far the best at on this roster at least. Most poor ball handlers have slow foot speed. When I mean foot speed I don't mean who fast you run or how quick your first step is, I mean how quick you can move your feet in tight spaces with coordination. He really excels at that.

I honestly don't see how you even come up with this conclusion.

I don't know. As someone who cares about my personal handles and works on footwork through skipping rope and agility ladders, I can tell Green is more advanced than his peers in that regard from just watching him on the court relative to other players

As we were discussing in the other thread, he doesn't drive to the rim especially often for an NBA guard with his usage. I do agree that he can get into really tight spaces sometimes, and has quick feet. I chalk a lot of that up to his natural athleticism though. He's exceptionally quick, like you said, and pretty slim and flexible. Again, I'm not saying he has a bad handle, I'm just saying he's not elite.

If you think he's an elite ballhandler, that would put him on or at least near the level of like--Kyrie, peak CP3, dudes like that. Do you really think he's close to those guys in terms of ballhandling ability?
