I say take the ball to the basket instead of "settling" for outside jumpers when they are not falling for you.

Well... don't you think Philly knows how bad a shooting team we are? They're basically packing everything into the paint, and daring this team to beat them with outside shots.

Bowen hit a few early... doing his best Nowitski impersonation, but you can't expect much more from him.

    The rest of our "shooters":
    Gaines, horrible.
    Howard, horrible.
Mo-T (used to be good), horrible.
    Barrett, ugly.
    Sura, no legs yet.

So, if they leave everybody else open except Yao and T-Mac, they should have a good chance of winning this game (which may be why the team looks more fluid with both of them on the bench).

Not having JJ this game hurts because he's a reliable shooter... not great, but reliable.

You can get mad about the Boki decision, but Bowen will have double figures... and you couldn't have expected much more from Boki (except for his questionable defense).

Question, those of you that are watching the game. How is it Yao has played this game so far and not managed to pick up ONE foul? Is this home cooking? Or is he being super aggressive and thus the officials are giving him leeway because he is the aggressor?

Rox are now 1-17 on 3's for a robust 5.6%.

They might want to try something else.

    Read my post above...

Philly is so focused on defending both Yao and T-Mac only, that when both of them aren't in the game, they have no clue what to do on defense.

And hence, our bench brigade has brought us within 4.

I was just thinking what Bill Worrell just mentioned. The 76ers are playing terrible and we are still losing, there is still hope down by 4 end of 3. Its time for T-Mac to wake up and earn that contract extension we signed him to. If we lose this game it will be demoralizing.

1-17 from 3 pointer line, and we are only down 9 points, somehow I have a good feeling now. Before the game, I thought Yao might get a 20-20 game, well, come on, big fella, don't fail me, 9 more boards to go in 12 mins. If T-Mac could find his shooting gloves back and go to the hole a couple of times, we might get away with it.

Before the game tonight, Van Grumpy told T-MAC he can't score so much like last time. High scoring doesn't fit in the Van Grumpy system. :D
