That alone is reason enough for us all to like Barrett.

My perspective from the game was that T-Mac was having lots of problems finishing off the break.

after Scaning all the NBA teams, I think the most fit team for Yaoming is detroit.
    reasons
    1. good coach.
2.good defense. no need for yao waste his talent and fouls on defense side.
    3.no ball distribution problem.
    4.Have good outside shooter.
    5.salary cap.

    problem.
unwilling to give big contract to players.

Bill Worrell said the coaches did a great job in telling Yao not to jump on shot block attempts. Yao was standing with both hands up most of the times and misdirected a bunch of shots by sixers----with no fouls called against him....It would be nice if he tries this agian.

Could anyone comment on why/how Yao got more rebounds in the last two games? From what I watched of the game against Detroit, Ming was always lured out to the 3-point line to help defend the opposite guards in the pick & roll situation and unable to get back in time to get any defensive rebounds. However, in the game against Dallas, Ming never went too far to help in the smilar situations, and he was thus able to get more rebounds. I wonder if it's really a change of defense strategy from JVG or merely because the Dallas guards were not much a threat. Since the Sixers has guards like Iverson, I would imagine Ming would help do the kind of defense like against Detroit, but Ming still get decent number of defense rebounds. Quite interesting.

He's crashing the offensive boards more. Tipped out several to teammates last night. I think it has more to do with effort than anything the other team is doing, or the style of defense we play.

agreed, Yao was much more active on the glass the last two games.

It appears to be more of a effort thing than anything else. Tho it does appear that they are tryin to keep him closer to the paint thru most of the defensive sets.

He can afford to be aggressive if refs don't scr3w him in the first half. It is mainly up to the officiating.
