You guys need to slow down the Wilks love fest. They guy did a good job in one game. Don't start calling him "Jesus" like they did with Tony Parker or compare him to the upper echelon PG's in the league. The guy is a backup who did a good job, but still made some bad basic mistakes.

For instance, he better not pull up with the ball in either corner near half court next game or he will get trapped. It came close to happening a few times last night. You can be sure the next team we play will pick up on that.

Now that I've got that off my chest, he was a breath of fresh air. He got the team into the offense quickly, which is something I have been begging for. If he can get that kind of production from him night in and night out, I will be glad to keep him as Steve's backup.

Wilks was wonderful and all...let's start a Mike Wilks Fan Club!

But I have a feeling we are going to get a veteran point guard to backup Stevie...Wilks is too fast for our offense!

I agree with you RocketsPimp, Wilks did a great job in the last game but don't expect that to be his everyday production. It's way too early to start idolizing him. It reminds me of Moochie and Cato's first impression.

He has some zip on those passes doesn't he? No wasted motion.

His athletic ability will never the at the same level as Francis. But Wilks does show how easy some assist can be achieved with the proper passing setup and form.

I was sitting next to Sixers fans! In front of me were Sixers fans, behind me, and right next to me :( The couple next to us had their nephew playing in the game, who was actually Kyle Korver! I was a little late for the t-shirts though:eek:
