I hope so too. This is even better than a blowout to rebound from all the frustrations and mentality from the last 2 games.

    -------------------------------------------------
    read this:
"The 76ers have begun their five-game road trip without Allen Iverson, and coach Randy Ayers is somewhat hopeful that Iverson can rejoin the team for the last two games - in Houston and San Antonio." by Philadelphia Daily News and Inquirer

even if he doesn't play, he's still expected to inspire.

Anyway, what counts is the outcome of the game! I WILL ALWAYS BE CORRECT ON THAT!

Steve shows up sporting Moochie's old 'fro. Despite that, we win by 10.

They can't lose, which means...they might.

Is it just me, or do we all have the same mentality we did post all star break 02-03 already?

Bring on the New Year! Hopefully it carries a new kind of attitude for the Rockets. I want to see this team break out of this slump. I am glad to see Moochie go. He was cancer to this team.

So Wilks is going to be the backup PG tonight? I am interested in hearing how that goes.

    Let's go Rockets!!!

Baby Bash and Frankie J are going to be performing at halftime and at the post-game concert/New Year's countdown.

And before every music expert here (which I think includes the entire board if I remember the last time music was an topic ;) ) goes off and says you should have hired this [classic rock/hardcore rap/pop punk] band or that band, their current single ("Suga Suga") has spent a bit of time recently as the #1 song in the rotation on The Boxx and Magic, it's was #3 on the last Billboard pop charts I looked at, and USA Today named it the #3 single of the year in yesterday's paper. We're pretty happy to have them, and they'll play very well with the audience we draw for our New Year's Eve game.

(And anybody who thinks U2/50 Cent/Eminem/Nelly/Britney etc. is available for post-game concerts, please go post in the thread where people think we should have been able to trade Moochie and Eddie for Jason Kidd. )

We're also doing t-shirts for the first 5,000 and noisemakers for everybody.

In case anybody is interested, there are still tickets available, although they're moving fast and we do expect to get a sellout. You can get tickets at the box office or at www.rockets.com. Should be a lot of fun -- last year's NYE game was a blast.

Rockets should win this one since the Sixers is an East Coast team. However, ya don't know what to expect from them.

I heared Kenny Thomas was hanging out last night at the Men's Club. KT might have a monster game tonight.

Baby Bash and Frankie J are also hitting Mainstream Top 40 radio as well being #7 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Should be a good show if people will stay after the concert.

From now on, Francis and Cat play the whole game.
So, we can't lose as our bench with Francis and Cat outplay their bench by a big margin!

    Houston 100
    Phili 81

    Just because of the Mac!

    I PREDICT..

we can all stop blaming a second string PG who played about 5-10 minutes a game as the reasons the Rox have been sucking wind! I PREDICT

    um...we also win by 10.:D
