even it is the wrong decision, I liked that he sees the option and not just goes blindly for the shot. That’s actual improvement.

 

Ah, ok. Well, we agree to disagree. Passing to Landale didn't work out so well, in my opinion.

And it was predictable that it wouldn't work out well, because Landale hasn't made a single correct pass or decision all season. Thus, this is why I would prefer the hot shooter (Jalen) to take the shot in that scenario.

 

This was an embarrassing game to loose...

 

Sure but that wasn’t a good shot. Wasn’t even a good screen. Who knows. Jalen is known to make crazy shots. But point is you trust your teammates to make the right play. That’s what team work means. Its not unreasonable to ask jock to make a layup on the roll or pass to the corner. It is to ask him to dribble drive from 23 feet.

 

We were ****ed before when we let them sneak in and took the lead...we were ****ed when our role player in Tate decided to get flagrant fouls, technical fouls...we were ****ed...don't get me started about the last 3 years...that's when we were ****ed!

 

Right now I have a hard time betting on that!

 

Let's hope so. I'm assuming nothing. Nothing!

 

That New Year game, jittery knees for sure.

 

Meh…losses are disappointing but with this loss came many silver linings.

Sengun continues to tear it up
Jalen had himself an excellent game
Rockets should have won this game but made some boneheaded plays
Bari was out and Rockets still played well

15-15 to close out 2023 is not bad at all.

 

Embiid comes back, it is not even a contest, he probably gets 15 FTAs....

 

Maxey playing like **** tonight vs the Bulls. Couldn't miss vs us and somehow only has 5 FTs.

 

Tate on Maxey was the dumbest thing Inr has done this season. Ime has amassed a lot of good will with the complete culture change but damn that was just a stupid along with Landale over Uncle Jeff in the last possession.

Tate is good at defending wings and forwards, not ultra quick small guards.

 

You are exactly right on this one. Ime had a poor game. He is still awesome, but he has a soft spot for journeymen vets like Tate and Holliday. Hope this past game wakes him up a bit. Amen and Cam should have been dogging Maxey all game, even if they sucked on offense (Tate always does).
