    The Rockets have 10 steals, which is encouraging. It begins and ends with defense. You guys argue about this, or that play in isolation and don't see the bigger picture. It's hilarious (ie- annoying) to read all of these internet Bobby Knights nitpick people who have more talent and accomplishment in their sweat bands.

    that might mean something if tmac did his usual run it down to 2 seconds and shoot a 27 footer routine. now that sucks. but he broke his man down cleanly. i'd never run another play if i thought we could get that every time down. no team would if they got that every time. we made a good play, philly made a better one.

    ok i do agree with that... i thought you were saying a jump shot that is all....now on another note we are talking about tmac and he usually makes the right decision when it comes to that but my bad about the other part

    If you pass the ball to the perimeter, you are only giving time for opponents to recover, but team can prevent the recovery by making more touch passes. With the clogged lane, I don't suppose the rockets are going to get a paint shot out of it. So if the rockets simply rotated the ball with touch passes, it leaves a chance for not only a recovery, but ball interception as well from the opponents.

    The defense lost position when McGrady beat his man off the dribble, if he pass to the perimeter it only gives them chance to recover...........

    he got stripepd sa he was jumping up. how do you even know if he was going to shoot or pass once the D committed. it's not like he never passes or something.
